Gravel is in the S9PP, and will come to the other watches. It is also already in SA.

Great job Suunto! I like that the tag feature is back again. Have som suggestions to improve this feature. You can just use a tag as a shortcut from the home screen. Just from the home screen you can get to the overview how many hours of training or distince the tag is related to. On the home screen all the other activities from people you are following are shown. So I think it is not so user friendly to scroll down to your own activity in order to catch a distinct tag and than get the stats. It is more comfortable to just “click” the tagg independet from if you are on the home screen or getting via the calender or trend page to your activity. So there was one thing left Suunto… I want to have the ascend stats too connected to the taggs Please… I am getting an old man and can not wait so long any more

@rdarden Garmin Explore does allow Save to Files. It’s a great app although I’ve found sometimes it doens’t always have the amount of detail as Suunto App. But it’s awesome nonetheless. (I use a Garmin Instinct as well as my Suunto’s)

I’ve not experienced the voice feedback as it’s not supported on the 5 peak. However, for many years I’ve used iSmoothRun and it has really good control over the voice feedback. With iSmoothRun you can: specify how often you get general status updates - by time or distance - and whether you want them on auto lap or after intervals control exactly which metrics (from a list almost as long as Suunto offers for display config), in which order, you are told control whether to just hear the metrics or also the units control the speed of the voice pick whether to receive zone alerts for pace, hr and power (e.g. “Zone 2”) choose to have out-of-target-range alerts (e.g. “above zone”) based on structured workouts or basic zones receive updates on target range occasionally to confirm you are still in range have your next step in a structured workout read out a few seconds before it starts (“30s at 3:45 … go”) receive end of interval/session distance countdowns (800m, 400m, 200m, 100m) setup alerts for hydration and nutrition every x minutes Honestly, if you wanted, you’d rarely need to look at the display when using iSmoothRun and I’d love to see similar capabilities from Suunto. As you say, it’s an app thing so hopefully easier to implement than if it was on the watch. As a side-note, iSmoothRun and other apps have similar “ducking” problems with some music sources where the volume of the original audio doesn’t return to normal. I get the impression it’s an issue with Apple’s audio framework and how different apps have implemented audio control. Spotify commonly seems to have issues, for instance.

@morm1 100% agree with you. Cheerleading is also big in Suunto world, but ebike is not…

@MdzOtt @Danny-poleg if I’m not mistaken blue stacks makes installation and use of android apps possible. but it is not possible to connect to anything than a phone, maybe a tablet with phone-like BT chips. it was not possible for me to connect to my chromebook and I didn’t try with my macbook air. I recall others tried without success. however, there are still phones on the market that support the installation of SA that are cheaper than the cheapest available laptop. if the support for multiple users is required, this is already possible with a single phone on one SA installation. logout and sign in with a different account.

@omunoz ah, ok. In this case, i am personnally not interested in this feature (which is still a valid suggestion to be voted by others ) I use my watch for everyday alarm and used my phone in case of exceptionnal one : i will now be able to use the watch for both.

@zanxion In the app, in the map tab, you can go to any location and find public activities [image: 1707581127662-screenshot_20240210_170330_suunto.jpg] You pick one you want to have a look at [image: 1707581191143-screenshot_20240210_170344_suunto.jpg] And from that you can see all public activities for this user you choose, and decide to follow or not. [image: 1707581274095-screenshot_20240210_170354_suunto.jpg] I pick one totally random. It is not what you really want, but…

@Stoke80 I’m just wondering why something like this is not in place from the very beginning. Without ability to track it later your custom activity does not make much sense …and “Other X” solution is really funny. I don’t want to be skeptical but as I see Suunto’s development proces and how they deal with major problems like Battery drain (known for several months but last update brought super useful “watch faces in store” instead of fix) it makes me think this feature won’t be there ever.

@Mff73 Of course, there should be option for privacy zone, to exclude XY meters around marked location. But it would be good to see more heatmap data, as a lot of users do not share their exercises publicly

It could be nice as part of a better “interval training” approach. Defining several intervals with different targets regarding HR ranges, pace ranges and so on. And getting alerts when out of the planned zone. Just as Garmin does. Sorry if its not polite to mention that here

@pshemo74 no idea about the time. hehe. I hope we open a feature requests area for watches to say the truth. Do you mind if I move this to the lounge for now, till perhaps in the future it belongs back to some other category? My apologies as much as I like this subject but I also need to keep a bit the scope towards the new app for start at least.
