@Likarnik I see! The feature is still there. I was stressed yesterday with my Race.

I’d like to see a list of routes on the watch. I frequently run up against the hard coded limit on the number of routes (which I wouldn’t mind seeing increased).

I’ve not experienced the voice feedback as it’s not supported on the 5 peak. However, for many years I’ve used iSmoothRun and it has really good control over the voice feedback. With iSmoothRun you can: specify how often you get general status updates - by time or distance - and whether you want them on auto lap or after intervals control exactly which metrics (from a list almost as long as Suunto offers for display config), in which order, you are told control whether to just hear the metrics or also the units control the speed of the voice pick whether to receive zone alerts for pace, hr and power (e.g. “Zone 2”) choose to have out-of-target-range alerts (e.g. “above zone”) based on structured workouts or basic zones receive updates on target range occasionally to confirm you are still in range have your next step in a structured workout read out a few seconds before it starts (“30s at 3:45 … go”) receive end of interval/session distance countdowns (800m, 400m, 200m, 100m) setup alerts for hydration and nutrition every x minutes Honestly, if you wanted, you’d rarely need to look at the display when using iSmoothRun and I’d love to see similar capabilities from Suunto. As you say, it’s an app thing so hopefully easier to implement than if it was on the watch. As a side-note, iSmoothRun and other apps have similar “ducking” problems with some music sources where the volume of the original audio doesn’t return to normal. I get the impression it’s an issue with Apple’s audio framework and how different apps have implemented audio control. Spotify commonly seems to have issues, for instance.

@tuxella With Android, importing a gpx file (offline), just give the expected result, you see the gpx track as the route (points) to be followed. No turn by Turn. But you can then sync with the watch. Just as simple and efficient.

@badger said in Export Sleep and HRV Data: It looks like the times etc. are in UTC which is a where as the developers would want local dates for this stuff which may explain why no developers seem to have included it as of yet. https://apizone.suunto.com/api-details#api=new-247-api&operation=daily-activity-samples In that link there are proper ISO 8601 time stamps, including the time zone Z for UTC. That is easy to process in Python for example, see the third example here: https://pandas.pydata.org/docs/user_guide/timeseries.html. Do you think that is a problem?

@omunoz ah, ok. In this case, i am personnally not interested in this feature (which is still a valid suggestion to be voted by others ) I use my watch for everyday alarm and used my phone in case of exceptionnal one : i will now be able to use the watch for both.

@MiniForklift said in Custom profiles in sports: @zanxion I’ll sometimes use the ‘Target’ feature before I start an activity, before you press start you can find it if you scroll down. In there you can set either a time or distance target, so for example if you set it for 5km you will be alerted when you have reached it I use that too. It is just that sometimes out in low light I can barely make out the screen on my watch and I wanted something that can be easily distinguished and used as a preset. What @Brad_Olwin suggested did the trick wonderfully! Thank you!

@Marcin-Byrtek sadly I’m on a watch that doesn’t know what that is @Tieutieu true, there is definitely some nuance needed in categorisation like you said - it just needs some sort of extra level of thinking involved depending on the activity, whatever that involves metric analysis wise.

@Michele-Zago I get that. You mean physical fitness metrics like VO2max (which decreases noticeably when you hike with backpack), right? Yeah, that would be cool. But given the fact that the formulas and algorithms for this are already quite complex and still don’t work for everyone, I’m afraid this would be extremely challenging to implement. On the other hand, if this would be done right, it could be quite a breakthrough Perhaps machine learning would help here?

@Tami999 The Vertical has impressive battery life, why do you need this? I doubt this will be implemented. You can always enable power saving mode, this will prevent Weather and other updating from the Suunto App.
