About messages, have a you managed to get pics shown in appfour message app? Mine doesn’t show the pics.

@Daniel-Osojca You can’t reply to SMS messages on iPhone as this feature is restricted by iOS. Only Apple Watch can do that. While we are at it: you can’t get full messages either (they will be truncated based on notification text limits), can’t execute custom notification actions like deleting an email or marking a task as complete, and can’t install any legacy Wear apps that came as companions to the phone counterparts… These still exist, yeah! There’s a number of other limitations too, sadly none due to Google and all because of the functionality Apple in their infinite wisdom decided to lock down.

This coronavirus has everyone in a challenges situations. Let’s hope it will be in ours S7.

Having persisted with the Suunto 7 for over 6 weeks, I think I am calling it a day. Someday, when it actually works I might give it another twirl. For now, it is a flaky, amateurish attempt at a sports/smartwatch combo.

@NickK In fact, I think there is no interest in developing an app that is truly functional for both Google and Apple

@pilleus Thanks. Weird. It’s obviously a software issue in google fit on the watch. Hopefully an update will fix it.

@jorgefd78 no. The specific talk we had above was for a special build of the watch. To be clear , distributors and fieldtesters get a special hardware built (same hw but special sn etc) and those are controlled by SUUNTO and Google as dogfood devices. All other retail watches are on the same ship

@Egika I didn’t do anything special. I just saw that wear os had recently updated when I checked the version was 2.17

What I really hate is autolap in running mode after each km. When I look at the watch during the running usually there is summary of previous km. I have to wait about 5 sec to see real data. Realy annoying

Plus I found that it is sufficient to switch to Airplane mode and back to restore the connection
