@maxr397 If you use the search function you will find the answers to this question. This feature is not available on Suunto App. There are some workarounds for Ambits with existing complex workouts. It is not known if or when complex workouts will be in the Suunto App. I will lock this post later today.

@daniel-haeberli Try one of the tools from the link I posted. I’m sure tools like Quantified-self, runalyze, strava, goldencheetah as @Bulkan mentioned can fulfill your needs.

@nyrup @isazi Thanks, I got it now, I can share via the app (not perfect, but do-able)! Now I just need to sort out my “connect from >1 device” issue, which I posted in another thread (after quite a few searches yielded questions about multiple watches, my tertiary question to that one). Just for reference, would prefer to discuss that one in the other thread: https://forum.suunto.com/topic/6050/sync-from-multiple-1-android-devices-surely-this-is-supported-now-2021

@martin Good one… I think you have to contact support for that.

@stromdiddily Sorry, but can you explain what is ‘compat’? Anyway, at least, it seems to be true that the route planning is currently unstable.

@peak-ambit-60 if using Android create user profile on phone for your wife, install suunto app on both profiles with your own logins, then switch between profiles as and when you need.

@downstorffleon If it is a good owner he listens to advice from experts instead of pushing his/her ideas. If the security policy of the company is so strict that employees are unable to install software by themselves on their devices, than it is usually because of good reasons. Reasons that, imo, would overrule the wish to install software for personal use on a company device. Also, are you held accountable for the issues that happen with Suuntolink or the watch if something goes wrong? What if, for instance, a new security measure of the company disrupts the communication between Suuntolink and the watch and the watch responds by asking to reset it. Some users have seen this with a faulty USB cable () and some users with incorrect USB redirection to a VM. Can the same owner then blame you for it? I would strongly advice the owner not to mix personal data with a company device, but I also know company politics doesn’t always work that way.

@caldirun said in Moveslink2 not working now: @caldirun Just tried it on my Win 7 laptop, it worked but still no moves after 1/02/2021 showing in Movescount, they are shown on the Android app February 9, 2021 • Ambit (3,2,1) and Traverse family watches no longer sync exercises to Movescount web (syncing settings, sport mode customization, and routes still available). • SuuntoLink replaces MovesLink2 as service connection to Suunto app. We have put together guidance for all watches impacted by these changes, see below. https://www.suunto.com/en-be/Content-pages/suuntos-digital-services/ https://www.suunto.com/en-be/Support/faq-articles/transition/how-do-i-use-the-suunto-services-with-ambit3/

A little update. The thing with MaxHR is that actually it is saved under the name PeakHr so it is not shown in .json. I managed to get that information and here is what I did, in case someone else could profit from it. First I wrote simple Python script to extract MoveID from each move in that .json file. Second I wrote a JMeter https://jmeter.apache.org/ script to go through all my moves in Movescount by MoveID and save that PeakHr value for each move. Third I wrote another Python script to merge fetched PeakHr value with other data and saved all my moves to .csv file. Fourth I wrote yet another Python script that will look Movescount data folder (c:/Users/UserName/AppData/Roaming/Suunto/Moveslink) for new .xml files and if new file is found all the useful content is added to .csv file. Mainly time of the exercise and hr values. Also script asks user to type name of the activity and distance traveled. I created this last script to extract new moves from filesystem rather than from Movescount. All in all I guess I am ready to migrate from Movescount now. Thanks for your all help and happy moving!

Not sure I get it right, but may be the author connected his Suunto App account to Strava after syncing the watch to Suunto App. Then his workouts hasn’t been pushed. All his new workouts will push to Strava, I’d recommend to try it @jahtba - record a new workout with you Ambit and check if it’s pushed to strava. For your older workouts that haven’t been pushed to Strava the easiest way is to download workouts as FIT files from Suunto App and then upload the files to Strava

POIs are already in the process of being implemented in the app, and OP has a traverse, so I am closing this topic.

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos The problem is solved. I ran the .FIT file produced by the Suunto App through Fit File Repair Tool (https://www.fitfilerepairtool.info/) . When I used this tool a few months ago it failed to produce a file that could be used in Firstbeat Athlete. I ran it again today (after re-installing Fit File Repare Tool and MS Access) and now I got a good result. I am not sure whether the problem was in the software I installed, in a mistake from me or in a flaw in the .FIT file produced by the Suunto App in October. Anyway, it is a bit more work to get the information from the Suunto App to Firstbeat Athlete, but it works now. Thanks for all you help.
