Today i found out that Android version of suunto app has more usefull features as fullscreen zoomable graphs, comparison of multiple activities on same track and some other features looks more usable. Can we expect improvements in iOS version to match Android usefull features?

@isazi as today it is correct for me as well on IOS, might be difficult for me as well to reproduce it. The only difference compared to yesterdays status is, that today I was not on a walk (next to my training). So it can be, that due to my recorded walking, the bars were not the same as the “text” value. Just an idea. (As it is raining today, I afraid of I will not walk today )

@helenk If you just soft reboot, no. Just press upper button for 12 sec : it is soft reset = reboot

@olli2709 only after a hard reset because it’s not just a firmware update, it is also a clean of all settings.

@gábor-tóth Ascent is calculated based on mapbox layer for altitude , so probably it’s not the same used by the other services. There is an old existing discussion about this issue. We’ve found the same problem in some specific map areas.

@myv02issue Sleep does not sync completely either. Not sure if/when this will change. Apple may only want AW to sync VO2Max, so this may not be a Suunto issue.

I got message from Pavel that this problem should be fixed in Suunto App. I’ve tested now workouts yesterday and today. Now watch and Suunto App (iOS) shows same avg and peak HR values.

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Thank you. Well, the App is completely unresponsive. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, hoping it would fix the issue. It does not. The App becomes unresponsive after 1 click. So basically I can open it, click on one thing, it takes me to the next menu or view, then becomes unresponsive… I contacted support. Waiting to see what they come back with.

So, very simple croping test with fitfiletools : yes it crops the tracks, the time and the distance, but it kills any ascent/descent data. Maybe it assumes that app will recalculate those values (which is the case for many of them, but not SA : if no total_ascent in fit file, nothing in SA). It is no criticism, just facts, i imagine that these file are nicely digested by Stava, but for pure and complete fit files, these are two options i won’t use as is (and i would love to do it, it is easy and convenient). The other fact is that i search quite a lot for easy fit file manipulators that keeps some key values at the end, and i can’t find on that makes all (golden cheetah is good, but first fit export is not OK for SA, missing session message, etc…).
