@SlaSh I know. But I used to be free of that curse! Oh, yes. It’s always snug, always in a known good location, on a known good hand. I made enough stink about locking on cadence to overlook this. My only explanation is that if was considerably colder when I started than normally. 42°F (about +5°C) as opposed to much balmier temperatures even a few days before. Perhaps, jumping out of a warm car and jacket has led to some… ummm, shrinkage.

@jburchm1 I had this problem with a 100 mile race too, very bad but…my understanding is that this is fixed in the next version that will hopefully come soon.

@adamreah do you use Suunto App on your phone? If yes, and if you also sync customized sport profiles or routes with Suunto App, you won’t be able to sync through Suunto Link. There’s a little trick, that is already well explained in several other threads here, how you can retrieve the connection to Suunto Link.

Rather funny … the fastest route is the one I needed longer and have been slower (synchronized in the same session from watch to SA on Android (wireless)) … so it does not seem to be speed nor distance-based … must be something else [image: 1537629874165-screenshot_20180922-172105_suunto-resized.jpg] as it is in German… the one at the bottom is - according to SA - the faster (and fastest) one …

I encountered this “issue” when my Movescount account was connected to Sport Tracker. Is it your case ?

I looked in the log book on the watch, and it shows the run as 5.06 miles (163% of target). So the watch knew the 5k distance was 3.1 miles, it was just wildly inaccurate in measuring it. So, not a bug with the app. I get that indoor running won’t be ‘accurate’, but that is rediculous. Hopefully there is some automatic calibration happening when I’m outdoors with GPS signal for it to learn my body or something. Never had this problem with other brand watches. They have always been within a few tenths of a mile difference, even at short distances like a 5k.
