I remember changing this from ZoneSense to HR some time after ZoneSense was introduced. You can change it in the activity under Edit, and I assume that setting then becomes the default for later runs as well. What I noticed is this: NGP appears with TSS ( r), TSS (hr), and TSS (p) NGP does not appear with TSS (ZoneSense) Also, the calculated TSS differs quite a lot for the exact same run: TSS (hr): 105 TSS (ZoneSense): 86 TSS ( r): 53 TSS (p): 109 To keep my data comparable with older runs, I switched back to TSS (hr), which I think used to be the default. Is there a logical reason why NGP is not calculated or shown when TSS (ZoneSense) is selected?

@Egika Thanks for this info/thread! Had the same issue and couldn’t figure out why on the old watch the “sport mode” block was blue, but with the new watch greyed out and unusable. Deleted one of the other sport modes and good to go! Thanks again for posting!

@masi0 that’s how iOS work. If you close the app, you cannot locate your phone. It is the same with Garmin btw…

Thank you in advance for your feedback. i have long since returned my suunto watch, though it seems from recent replies that they have silently fixed this issue. which is good, of course, but it took years (the issue existed before this thread). i wonder if they have fixed the workout display for runna workouts? eg, showing the interval number, showing the full interval description, and counting down before next step, as per other watches? allegedly this is a runna problem, not a suunto problem, but as a runna user that’s a bit academic - it’s just a worse experience on suunto than the competition.
