@Jamie-BG I definitely agree that a sleep mat is likely to be more accurate than a wrist device, and it’s really nice not to have to wear anything on my wrist when sleeping. However, once this pandemic is over and we all start travelling again, it would be nice to be able to use my watch to track my sleep when not at home. In fact, if my watch becomes good enough I may switch from the map completely, as I would prefer to have all of my data in one place, rather than jumping between multiple apps (just need the Suunto App to link with my wi-fi scales next).

Just to clarify, the purpose of this area is to suggest features for Suunto App , not for watches. That said you can use Zone target as suggested I would rely on medical equipment for such sensible cases, non on OHR

@Ad1411 that is cause wear os app only for wear os watchs. I still think it may be possible to get battery level from watch and show on suunto or another app, as I know the bluetooth headset shows its batterylife on my android phones icons.

Yes, great idea. The dashboard ion suunto app in a widget would be great. And going further with the metrics you would want. And dreaming supporting shortcuts in iOS. Actually I do have a widget with chart.app using the workouts that are in health.

Thanks! I’ve decided for separate one as it touches more on integration than just sleep data. Apple Health can read data from smart scale and I suppose that Suunto app could read it from Apple, thus automatically update those values in app.

So did this end up getting parked since it’s available on the S9/S7 series of watches directly? Would be nice to have it centrally located for those of us that have multiple watches…

@Brad_Olwin 2021 soon and 2014 gonna disappears when the update doesn’t come hopefully iOS users get the version android users already have. Yes you can use the calendar and go back, but you can’t filter by activity and get a graph that covers several years.

haven’t seen the lap issue on my S7 (but might be due to not doing a lot of laps). Agree it isn’t picking up breaststroke - good to know I am not the only one, but not good that this isn’t recognized considering how different the stroke is, which should make it really easy to recognize and record.

@lohtse Hi, I hear about “Quantified Self” for the first time. It seems data plot/analysis platform. Is there a possibility to get user calculated data (by “mini app”) and let it show on their platform? Do we need to depend on Suunto to get the “mini app” data in the end? (it is something we can’t expect I guess) I am one of the sad Ambit3 users who appreciate “mini app”. Not so many, but some very helpful metric I am letting Ambit3 calculate. It is very sad that I can’t review it. As for the other normal data like heart rate, pace, and so on, I created my account in Strava, but only realize Movescount web service is much better in terms of close data (chart) viewing/analysis.

@andrasveres I think that having lap marker on map/graph would be very useful, especially in the context of all the new S+ apps that leverage laps for sprints, loops, hills.
