@isazi …says the young gentleman I used to look at elevate (?) strava extension that gives a similar view with overlaying graphs. very easy and intuitive to read. QS also has some nice comparison graphs. but in my case, every year is different to the previous one and in the end it doesn’t matter how I performed between january and december, but how I feel and enjoy sports in general. life is rolling and not cut on december 31st… it’s good to track improvement or at least not loosing fitness

@Knigge-Bogge I do not think this will happen as it limits flexibility as I stated before. We are now close to what we had with the Ambit but with significantly more flexibility by choosing partners. I think it might be difficult and time consuming to determine calendar inputs for all connected partners on the Suunto side.

@seanvk The two apps have always been different. There are some things easier to implement in one OS vs. the other.

@Spree This is (I guess) my point. RHR is pretty key, from what I understand, so it would be good if Suunto could implement a test for this. I’ve read a few times that people just lay down, start an activity and take the minimum reading. If that’s the case, then such a test activity - as part of the software - would be pretty useful.

Karoo 2 doesn’t calculate calories based on HR. Would be great to have the calculation done by SA as the ride is imported. For example TP and Strava are able to calculate calories for rides imported from KAROO2. I think it must be possible also for SA especially because SA and KAROO2 bolongs to the same partnership platform.

@jjpaz I see as well that in some cases a reliable watch is crucial. but basically it should be reliable without a doubt! what I wanted to say is that maybe if you use different settings or use another or no S+ etc it can also be different and that is also interesting to find out. in race situations you want to have a stable watch, fully agree!

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos No problem with tracking, as a developer myself I know its how people make empirical decisions on the direction of the product. Its the frequency. Did it really need 25k+ interactions? Not doing that much on my account. I see that as something that is trying to get through, cannot, and hammering. Not sure but it may have some other implications like battery use? App lag? Maybe its just that the number is insane that it bothers me.
