I’m often running alone and in the case I might have an accident, at least my wife or who ever is my track recipient, knows where to find me. Or on relay marathons, the next guy knows where I am and when to expect me and he has to continue, and, and, and …

RunGap will do the same as Syncmytracks but works for iOS

Hello. Almost two years have passed and there is no information about adding the elapsed time feature to the Suunto app. I know, it is possible to measure this time by convert workouts to other applications like Strava etc. So, Strava app is not suitable for full range of activities. Why do I vote for this feature ? Because in my opinion the distinction between moving time and total elapset time is very usefull for hikers and cyclist. The idea is to distinguish between time in motion and rest time. Especially during long distance activities. So maybe it would be possible to add it as an option for some activities like hiking, trekking, cycling, mountain biking etc. I understand that this feature could be completely useless for a lot of runners . @silentvoyager Appreciate your thoughts. I think that must be it, the bluetooth connection dropping in and out depending on the proximity of my phone and watch. Somehow this seems to be resetting my chosen sync/data restriction choices…

@lohtse Hi, I hear about “Quantified Self” for the first time. It seems data plot/analysis platform. Is there a possibility to get user calculated data (by “mini app”) and let it show on their platform? Do we need to depend on Suunto to get the “mini app” data in the end? (it is something we can’t expect I guess) I am one of the sad Ambit3 users who appreciate “mini app”. Not so many, but some very helpful metric I am letting Ambit3 calculate. It is very sad that I can’t review it. As for the other normal data like heart rate, pace, and so on, I created my account in Strava, but only realize Movescount web service is much better in terms of close data (chart) viewing/analysis.

So I guess this is less of a feature request and more of an iOS specific thing.

This feeling thing can be switched off. I like the open question. Everyone can define be himself what he wants to put there. It’s like a 0-5 star rating of photos. One wi choose the stars according to image sharpness, others use it to sorts pictures, others will use it for composition and others to just “like” pictures. So feel free to define your own meaning or decide to not use it. I like the free choice - whatever you put here, it has no influence on your training data
