@Tieutieu I also don’t wan’t Apple or Google to know my locations. I am trying to do everything offline as much as possible. On the contrary, I can give my trust to Suunto (maybe I shouldn’t ), as they already know ALL my sport life. I also don’t use phone GPS photo location, for this reason. But for sport photos, I use this workflow https://forum.suunto.com/post/56926 And, outside suunto, without sharing my location to any GAFA, I can have this. @Egika That makes sense ! my 2 cents would be to ignore auto-tag in the condition to allow rapid editing or not ? this way we still have the cool auto tags, the ability to quickly edit our activities once its done, and then comment as needed, best of all worlds !

@leederek12 I’d like to add my vote to this. I think it could work in the same way as the weather does but should be a “complication” on the watch face. It’s the only smartwatch feature I currently miss on my Vertical.

@The_77 Bummer, I am sure this will come as I would expect the Summary to have parity between OSs.

@Brad_Olwin Thanks for your feedback Temperature is usefull when skiing or mountaineering to know about snow quality or avalanche risk or to know if ice may cover the rocks for exemple. In any case it is more usefull than the internal sensor info that is a mix between body and outside temperature. On the other side, temperature given by forecast don’t take in account altitude so it’s not relevant in moutain. For sure it’s possible to carry the watch on the bag for exemple but in this case no hearth pulse and less pleasant to use. That’s why I would be intérêt in an bluetooth temperature sensor.

@Mff73 said in POI creation and syncing to watch WHILE exercizing: @Brad_Olwin Probably never Sorry I could not resist…iOS and Android have some differences but it seems they are fewer than they used to be.

I’d like to see a list of routes on the watch. I frequently run up against the hard coded limit on the number of routes (which I wouldn’t mind seeing increased).

I’ve not experienced the voice feedback as it’s not supported on the 5 peak. However, for many years I’ve used iSmoothRun and it has really good control over the voice feedback. With iSmoothRun you can: specify how often you get general status updates - by time or distance - and whether you want them on auto lap or after intervals control exactly which metrics (from a list almost as long as Suunto offers for display config), in which order, you are told control whether to just hear the metrics or also the units control the speed of the voice pick whether to receive zone alerts for pace, hr and power (e.g. “Zone 2”) choose to have out-of-target-range alerts (e.g. “above zone”) based on structured workouts or basic zones receive updates on target range occasionally to confirm you are still in range have your next step in a structured workout read out a few seconds before it starts (“30s at 3:45 … go”) receive end of interval/session distance countdowns (800m, 400m, 200m, 100m) setup alerts for hydration and nutrition every x minutes Honestly, if you wanted, you’d rarely need to look at the display when using iSmoothRun and I’d love to see similar capabilities from Suunto. As you say, it’s an app thing so hopefully easier to implement than if it was on the watch. As a side-note, iSmoothRun and other apps have similar “ducking” problems with some music sources where the volume of the original audio doesn’t return to normal. I get the impression it’s an issue with Apple’s audio framework and how different apps have implemented audio control. Spotify commonly seems to have issues, for instance.

@tuxella With Android, importing a gpx file (offline), just give the expected result, you see the gpx track as the route (points) to be followed. No turn by Turn. But you can then sync with the watch. Just as simple and efficient.
