@mff73 well the thing are not the decimals in elevation. Probably like many other, I use the data gathered with the watch to import it into other services, that’s all.

The watch should give you options to export that data as collected, without any clamping. But the situation now is simply ridiculous related to the POIs. You have an option to export the activity as FIT, track or route, which is great. But absolutely nothing for the POIs.

Honestly regarding ambit 3, I trully doubt they would do it, but we never know.

@moe67er Heh. Yes, I have mild sticker shock from the Vertix alone! Though I’m not complaining, given that we’re talking about sapphire glass and titanium. I just hope the overall package lives up to expectations. 🙂

I do agree that some kind of auto trigger when launching a specific exercise (e.g., hike, walk, trail run or other outdoor) would be nice.

I think this idea of you with crowdfunding a SW is not bad, but now, help me if I am wrong…you wrote “I don’t know who could do the job”, that also means you have no real knowledge in programming?

And Suunto clearly has intention to make a working piece of software. I can understand that some users of Suunto hardware want to speed things up a little. But as @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos pointed our several times here, Suunto is merely a small or smaller company, things take their time at Suunto HQ. If you don’t like the time it takes, nor the software delivered, maybe you should take a look around to find something from a competitor which suits your needs more.

And do you think writing something like this makes development faster? No need to insult the people here.

Agreed! In general, ability to capture irregular sleep intervals needs to be improved. I get up often in the night, and I often see that Suunto stops tracking and does not resume when I go back to sleep. Naps and other sleep outside of “normal” hours needs to be captured also.

Respiration rate in Movescount is kind of a by-product, it’s result of one of the steps to get EPOC estimation from IBI data.

A FW update is needed to show new icons in the watch, so it will eventually be available.

@Mff73 Even the having more than 4 screens for custom Sport Profiles?

It gets a little frustrating when you only have 3 pages to start with (4th has to be Navigation breadcrumb) and then one goes to an Interval Screen (other gripe: Why can’t we customize that data fields on the Interval page) and all you have left is two pages! 😞

Yes, that is the big problem, I dont think I have done any swimrun where it would have been possible to use multsport in Suunto. I try to use manual laps to be able to check swim time after the race.

Yeah. Automatic upload is a pain. I run on a threadmill and distance from the watch is not precise. In strava I cant change it by hand so i have to remove training and add it again…

We already had an interesting discussion on the efficacy of these sort of automatic ways of computing VO2Max and other metrics 😉
