I realise this post is quite old but for anyone else coming to this issue (like I just did on the Race S) I would note the following:-
The segments and timers are all a bit confusing.
As someone previously noted, the Segment 1 message comes up straight away, and the Segment 1 timer is then the delay until Segment 2.
As such, I use Segment 1 as a last ditch reminder to take my pre-race gel / confirm the app has started.
The time is gaps between segments (e.g. 45/45/30 mins); I note that some users have given examples with total run time (e.g. 45/90/120mins) and in my experience this is not correct.
The text is definitely too small for when you’re on a run!
It would be beneficial to have the ability to repeat a setup - I have a longer event planned and 20 segments isn’t enough, but it’s a simple repeated pattern…
Below is an example of how I’ve set up my Race Nutrition app. I’ve only used it on one training run and tested it a few times with shorter duration segments to confirm operation, but now seems to work as I’d expect.
