@alexeg said in Problems with Resources and other: @mountainchris the Body Battery function primarily helps to understand when it is possible to increase the load after an illness. It’s always works. It happens that a week after the illness you feel good, you do a light jog and the watch shows stress at times stronger after it. Then it is clear that you need to rest for another day or two, and then run again easily and compare the result with the previous one. Here’s an example of what the stress charts looked like during my last illness in October 2021 (it was covid-19): [image: 1655531046310-img_8628.jpg] October 13: woke up and felt fine. A simple hike of 17 km was planned for this day, but there was rain and a fairly strong wind. After looking at the readings of the Body Battery, I decided that I would not go on a hike (the experience of using the watch said that they should be trusted). By lunchtime, the temperature rose and the state of health worsened. [image: 1655531171500-img_8629.jpg] The next day was even more difficult. The graph shows that even at night the stress goes through the roof and the body does not recover. But on the night following it, recovery periods are already appearing (blue color on the chart) [image: 1655531478218-img_8634.jpg] And this is what the data looks like already for October 30, after which I returned to training. Garmin perfectly understands the state of the body and helps to plan the load. And you can only underestimate this function if you haven’t used it before. And Suunto deceives its users when they claim that their watches can do the same. They claim a different thing btw. But the metrics are in most watches other than Apple Watch and FitBit on this front are still questionable and almost useless (the tell you what you already know …) In any case , I really feel that the watch should not be replacing us

@simon I have the same experience with S9b. A3P performed better in this regard.

@brad_olwin Thank you! I don’t really have good pictures, but I will try to add some. I just have the impression that the readings in 24/7 are always higher than what they are in reality. I’ll also try wearing the watch even higher up. Keep you posted!

@isazi agree, I did that and I don’t notice a higher battery consumption. 24/7 HR and frequent activity have a much higher impact than backlight IMHO

Hi Same as you guys, I’ve discovered Gravel mode today in the App. I’m using a SSU and I modified the basic Road Cycling sport mode for my Gravel moves. With this new mode, do you feel such Gravel mode will be directly added to my SSU or because it’s an “obsolete” model I will have to change the sport mode myself in the App Thanks

@simon I voted for this, if the watch has a route displayed this would replace that route. Hopefully not resulting in the watch crashing while recording. It may be an issue for the resources but I do not see why as one can enable a route while exercising.

@wotus I believe steps are counted as part of overall basal metabolism. This aids in determining the total number of calories you expend, which includes exercise and whether you are sedentary or moving.

@anthony-guillemette I believe these may be due to processor limitations but I am not sure. Since the HR is available in all screens except Navigation and Guides as the outer ring depicting zones, I do not find a graphical HR necessary.

@anthony-guillemette This is a Suunto Design descision. There are data-rich watch faces and simpler ones. As of today there is no watch face designer (except for Suunto 7), as Suunto so far has used their development resources for other features.

@jochen-marquardt I would expect that, with this price tag… but it’s good that you think ahead and double check

@freeheeler Polar app says 100% power. But it seems always to glitch after a pause. I will use my Spartan Ultra next time to see if get the same behaviour. I had a run 2 weeks ago with Spartan, same route and lot of pauses (my dog) no glitch at all.

@mountainchris I am not having any issues here. There are 2 ways to use the smart sensor without the watch on you. #1. Put the Smartsensor on, start an activity on the watch and leave the watch at home, in a locker, etc. The smartsensor will record 2-3h without the watch. Get the watch, end the activity and HR will sync. #2. Use SA on the phone but the phone must stay with you, there is no memory feature in SA. Both work for me.
