@binoworld-uk you can go to https://intervals.icu/ Create an account and then you can set up a connection to your Suunto account in settings on the webpage and intervals.icu will read your trading data from your Suunto account, showing you tons of data and possibilities to display it. @inkognito Thanks for your answer. I always change the direction without strong pushing, because the pool ist too short. I wasn´t aware for this algorithm detail, because i assumed it was controlled only by the compass.

@fluca I am happy with using a Sportswatch - mostly Suunto 5/9P for workouts and as daily timepiece (and additionally H10 for watch free workout tracking) + an Oura Ring for all those health stats, especially tracking recovery and how meditation and Tai Chi / Chi Kung Sessions influence those. Sportswatchwise I realised that I really don’t need much besides reliable HR and GPS tracking and It seems that I slowly start to „feel“ in which HR Zone I am without looking on the watch. But that’s my case . I am no Ultra- or Marathonrunner and I can not say if Suunto does a good job supporting those (though I would say Suunto does). I doubt that Suunto will make money from customers considering a „healthband“ like a Fitbit or Mi Band anytime soon even if they would put more of those features in their watches.

Suunto’S D5 has all the freedive and diving features: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfGqCZsyP9U But no GPS and other sports watch features. The simple Suunto’s Core has depth measurement up to 10m, but no GPS as well. All other Suunto sports watches with GPS are waterproof up to 100m, but have no depth measurement or diving functions… Looks like Garmin Descent (G1/G2) has a niche here.

@mtnsportsnutrition I see SuuntoPlus Guides as a platform, so now Structured Intervals can be easily created by 3rd party apps, and more options could be enabled in the future. Let’s see what developers can imagine and request to Suunto Regarding Gretel, it seems to be starting, because althoght I live in Spain, I cannot find any of my zone races BR

@emmanuel-logan-moll as a workaround you could use the S+ ghost runner app. If you set a target in duration or distance, you get the expected time (for distance) or distance (for time).

Sounds interesting. If I understand this correctly, live data from the watch will be displayed on the glasses. From what I have seen on their site they support Garmin too. There a ciq app has to be installed on the watch. I am wondering if the Suunto implementation will be done with a Suunto Plus app which is then responsible to communicate with the glasses.

@fluca agree on that especially when you look at the issues with the Fenix7/Epix2/Instinct2 - saying that they have already had an update or two which have fixed a lot of the major issues.

After 8 years since my last Garmin (Fenix 2), I purchased the Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar. Quite happy with it. The touchscreen is pretty smooth to use, considering the Fenix 2 I had was ultra-buggy. And hence the S9 goes into retirement…

@krakra I had my traverse since it was released, it has been to 10 African counties and went through dust,Mud, Harmattan season and still going strong. I have to agree kinda bored of it’s looks, so a revamped travers with a TFT or even better an AMOED screen would be amazing. In terms of its functionally, I would say it perfect as it is. Perhaps in the next model they can allow us chose the Storm alert sensitivity and quicker GPS lock.

@tyresej4 thanks for clearing it up. I know I shoot against suunto from time to time but the bottom line was: The garmin forum community lacks a lot of manners for a majority of posts, where here, people are very supportive and constructive. I do not like garmin as a brand, but their watches appeal to my data-loving fiddle-around mindset. Also, I got very frustrated in races when my suunto watches crashed on me (not saying that is a general thing, just my experience). People here in this forum deserve great products, some even post their own ideas and designs to support the brand. People at suunto either use that drive, or the company will be at a tipping point.
