@Captbrad said in apple watch to suunto app?: Thanks ALL, this was very helpful. I did some test runs with Apple Watch Today and the runs did show up in suunto app. Same for me - and if I opened SportsTracker on iOS I also have the daily heart rate values

Hi @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos could you please explain why we have difference between pace data in watches and movescount during pool swimming? Autolaps were disabled. Let me show my activity. This is data displayed on watches, as you can see the pace is 1:58, total time of activity is 33’19 min. [image: 1569943650257-20191001_181202-resized.jpg] When the data is transferring to Movescount the pace changed to 2:13, total time of activity noted is same, 33’19 min. [image: 1569943781029-2019-10-01_18-07-24.png] I understood that we have difference between Strava and watches, due to different calculation, but why we have difference between watches and Movescount? This is data from Strava, the pace is 1:58, BUT activity time is 29’37 min! Its moving time without time for refreshment between swimming intervals. [image: 1569943983557-2019-10-01_18-07-07.png] To be more clear i got swim 3 times per 500 meters with refreshment abt 1 minute between intervals. As i noted autolaps is disabled and i didn’t use pause button during activity.

@mountainChris said in Suunto 9 keep losing the GPS signal during my runs.: @Sergio-Balboa Already on 2.8.28 ? Had this before since last update, but now it seems better again. As FW2.8.28 doesn’t contains any GPS update, either the FW update did something, or just a better GPS day.

@Beat13 as far as I have understood (and test), watch (mine is SSSW) counts each direction change, and multiplies it by the length of the pool.

@Rj00001 I mean: are you new to suunto? or did you use movescount before? the reason I’m asking: for me it is not clear what to use when you buy a new watch as suunto advertises both apps (SA and MC) to be used with ambit and traverse… but SA is very restricted. on the other side (as an MC and ambit user) I received suggestion to use SA. I think it is a bit misleading on suunto web page unfortunately… but go back to MC and it will work more news will come in october

@silentvoyager said in Where are the steps: Traverse and Ambit can’t upload steps to the app - neither to Movescount nor to the newer Suunto App. Interestingly, it records the data on a daily basis, but just missing the download to the app isn’t going away. There is probably no data to back the clock either. Thanks for the response I was expecting.

Suunto watches already show pace as min/mile. What kind of sport mode do you use? If it is a custom sport mode, have you mistakenly configured it to use “speed” field instead of “pace”?
