i am not expert enough to assess all dependencies, but, i think yes, fit is a standardized format, but, even well “formatted”, it can contains so much more data that suunto need and will manage, and those data could even not be well “logic”, and then, what need suunto do with a data that is leading to “wrong” activity metrics ? it will have to support, analyze each file, give an exact explanation of “why” it is not working, etc…

translations from English always cause that kind of problems, also on smartphone and PC, there is not enough space for rewording in different languages, and translations often sound weird too. That’s way I usually keep English in all my devices.

Same problem with SSU 2.5.18 and SA 3.59.5. For example on my last two outdoor cycling moves, the asc and dsc in the watch were reported correctly and SA reported the asc completely wrong and the dsc was the same as in watch.

I noticed something else regarding altitude … while downhill skiing, the watch sometimes failed to record about 200 m of altitude at a time on consecutive runs. It was clearly visible in the graph.

Asc and dsc should be the same (approx 8300 m vertical as reported by the ski-data keycard) as I started and stopped the watch in the valley.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I am not saying I am not able to use it. I am saying that there is a bug that you have to restart app to see the icon come back.

What about the barometer values/graph ? Maybe there are fluctuations on hPa

@zhang965 no, i have the spartan trainer, its spot on, just using it the way it came out of the box, the altitude is not quiet perfect (in a 25k run, it should have been 520m, and it registrated 429m) but it has no baro so… no big deal to me.
bought it specialy for the gps/navigation, and it does a perfect job!
plant a gpx in it, go to the woods and have some fun, life can be so good 🙂

@Carles-Merin A mi esto no me pasa. De hecho sincronizo con SA y con Movescount y tengo la misma media total y te puedo asegurar que uso las pausas también. En mi caso, y los de mis conocidos con relojes Suunto, esto no pasa.

Como ya te he dicho, si no das links o ejemplos más claros no te puedo ayudar más.

FW update without at least MC sync is possible only if you disconnected the watch from the SL app and do a FW update that way. Otherwise SL always syncs everything first, then lets you update the FW.
