    @Mff73 It doesn’t depend on the location. Suunto app correctly shows this segment of profile as 261 feet of climb in 0.2 mi, which is 80 meters of climb in 320 meters of distance. The problem is that the color depends on the climb category rather than the slope grade, and the climb that short doesn’t make into the “red” category. Climb categories 1-3 are shown as red, and climb category 4 is shown as yellow/orange. So even if a climb is very steep but not long enough like this case, it would still be yellow/orange, and I find that misleading.

    He reinstalled the app since 2/3 months. so, very strange. Luckily he sync-ed all activities with strava so I recommended him to use syncmytrack to push back his historical.

    @C-D it’s me But it have issues like already mentioned (detection based on osm forks etc) Works not that bad as it allow to quickly add tbt without changes on the trace but it add uneeded notifications I will not develop it further it currently works well enough for my use case and I’m busy developing an app that sync my sport activities accros platform Hope it can help some

    That happened to me too, if I don’t remember wrong, I stopped the SA (App Info -> Force Stop) and then cleared the cache before restarting the SA and downloading the maps to the smartphone

    Thanks @Francesco-Pagano. Im using the latest version…yes, there is an ‘interval workout’ option which used to be called “structured workout” and for some reason they changed it to “interval workout” and still use the name "guides’ in the watch itself. I guess Im asking for too much to have this synced with “Target” and “Intensity Zones”, which seems quite a bit more logical too me. If I have to take 5 different steps before I start an exercise and the steps are counter productive (e.g. “Intensity Zones” with the “Interval Workout” hear rate) I find the product not really fit for purpose. Thanks for offering your help, appreciated

    I emailed Suunto support. They suggested the following, which I did: Suunto App → Profile → Feedback → Select the relevant category Add a short description of the issue Attach the screenshot if possible Make sure to enable: “Send logs to Suunto” “Send user info to Suunto” After doing that and replying, they sent the following confirmaiton: Our team will review the report and investigate the issue. If a fix is identified, it will be considered for inclusion in a future software update. Hopefully an app update fixes it, or they find the offending spam on the backend and clean it up.
