@karel-louda yes and a good one. Was thinking even how it should look. I mean you dont want to block the watch UI do you?

@Jessica-Monk when back in range the phone will shortly check if it needs to sync. Perhaps for a few the sync icon will appear.

@fhegnor @maciejdziki @S1ngletracker assume he is asking if the Suunto App is synchronizing the system time of the host mobile device back to the watch during a activity/settings sync like movecount mobile or moveslink2 did on older devices (GPS only updates the time if less as 7mins deviation from latest known), don’t know this by fact so might be wrong but my guess is due the Sporttracker legacy code in the Suunto App it’s not doing this (as his question implies)

@Droro I agree with @silentvoyager and think this could be implemented solely on the watch. Given that SA is supporting a large number of watches including the new D5 for diving, I think it would be very difficult to implement in SA. I don’t know this but it does not seem simple.

@sartoric no, I don’t know the system, just what updating a good developed system requires. I have the impression that this is not the case.

Yes and lets not forget the Spartans! Actually, I have raised this with Stryd, because I was thinking it may be easier if Stryd do it, i.e. Suunto to Stryd, who merges data and then uploads to FS/TP with all data. Also, given everything Suunto have on their plate and the Stryd segment may not be a major segment for them, I think we will have more luck with Stryd, especially as Stryd CAN do it and are very willing to do it. So it might be helpful if you add your voice/suggestions to https://club.stryd.com/t/difference-between-powercenter-data-merged-data-and-final-surge-data/12748/4

I would like to see this option too. I don’t need hr during the day, just hr during the sleep time. Basicaly more sophisticated data about the sleep quality would be nice feature too.

@fhegnor I think adding more good to have things in the app would increase the app complexity. Just my thoughts. In the meantime as I have the same drill, (need reminders to stretch etc) I use some other apps that offer punchcards etc so I can better monitor if I follow my physios schedule. Just saying…

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos @sartoric thank you guys. For me Suunto doesn’t have competition in sport monitoring. You can have data of near all and based on a lot of sport types. Adding few features like that in the SA (basicaly show more data already known by Suunto) could be a powerful entry level to the daily activity bands market, and a dangerous alternative too, for people who at this point doesn’t plan to buy a Suunto watch.

@sartoric in hiking, or in general actually, altitude for sure has to be taken into account in calorie estimation… But I don’t know what other physiological factors besides hr affect activity at altitude. (I mean the body struggles and spends more energy to function). And temperature… For example, If you are cold and barely walking your body is still spending a lot of energy to avoid hypothermia.

@silentvoyager I find the whole app very disorganised. The summary and stock photos is the worst.
