@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos it’s a difference if you are cross country skiing, backcountry or alpine. But I also want to know how many hours, km etc I spent on skiing activity during a season. It’s the same with road cycling and terrain cycling. It’s absolutely a point to get this function

I tried to use my old Movescount App as a second monitor. So, The app and my S9 synced, I lost my personal sport modes, and than, I chose to use the app as second monitor and the wheel on the scree turned endlessly …

Please, allow SA to be a second display for the watch !

@pierre-yves-colle I agree about indoor activities and I have never experienced such behaviour.
I use my s9 not only for the mountains - actually I must skip summer season each year because of uni. But I go skating in the neiborhood or just for longer walks, so over time the routes overlap enough for a curious mind to decifer my location. There is a suggestion in the forum btw to limit displayed maps and have a private circle in predifined locations, feel free to vote for that, if you find it useful.

Yes, my start and end points they are always the same in different places with around 5km between both points using the same path and did not work on previous attempts. The only variable that I remain to check is the frequency, I don’t know. Time to continue testing 🙂

@isazi Hello, sorry, I’m idiot, I was looking in the installed apps.
Found, installed and tested. It gives the information I was looking for.

If I had to “complain” or suggest about something, it’s that I find the distance feature somewhat irrelevant, especially when it keeps iterating. In a future version, it would be great to have the option to choose whether to display only the distance, the time, or both, and to have it iterate accordingly.

I find it amusing that it displays distance while stationary, and even more so that it detects something different from zero, in principle, but it’s more anecdotal than anything else.

It could also be implemented directly in the hiking mode, instead of having to use one of the two additional apps that you can add to the activity. I think it would improve the functionality and wouldn’t be difficult since the data is quite basic. However, the app serves perfectly well for what I was looking for as it is.

@Ecki-D That’s exactly how it is… I just tested that too… 😊it won’t work without glasses… All the more potential for Suunto or programming of Suunto plus… maybe someone is reading with who can program something like that and would also find it good… In the forum had read that there is someone who is testing and programming at live tracking… I’m curious when and if something will come…
