I’m concerned with the movescount platform shutting, it may not be possible to configure the EON via DM5 and if its also not possible via the app, then this will be extremely bad. Its bad enough that I can’t pair my EON and Spartan at the same time. Suunto really need to get a grip on their software development and improve their customer support. At the moment I cannot recommend Suunto dive computers, they are way behind the competition on mobile app syncing and support!

I’m with you, but as you said, MC will be turned off not before summer 2020. So…still 14 months, it’s too early to really worry about it, let’s see what will happen in the meantime. I hope and think that Suunto will listen to our feedback somehow

@Emir-Karisik … and it might be a good starting point to something like that what Garmin calls “LiveTrack” which I REALLY like to have. I’m often running alone and in the case I might have an accident, at least my wife or who ever is my track recipient, knows where to find me. Or on relay marathons, the next guy knows where I am and when to expect me and he has to continue, and, and, and …

The apps that were available on the Ambits were not ported over to the Spartan line of hardware. That is really all we know.

other features for SUP in race and fitness SUP that could be nice : like other major brand : total stroke count, number of strokes per minute, distance traveled per stroke. I think it is possible with a Spartan watch : left and right strokes ratio… thanks!
