Suunto Vertical: Bug Collection
-
I remember reading on this forum that new hardware had some issues with these watch faces, it is also missing from s9pp.

ah ok, thanks!

I have had two crashes as well. Thankfully the workouts both saved, but the second one did not record elevation gain. It did record a GPS track and my altitude is on there, but I have 0 for elevation on the app and no saved auto laps. The first crash was this past Friday after recording for a little over 6 hours. The second one was today after recording for only an hour and a half.

@pedromslopess @isazi
looks like it only has problems when backlight is on while i put the watch on the charger. Because after i put the backlight option “off” it worked. Don´t know why… -
@isazi I confirm for Vertical. S9PP works ok for me since the beginning

I would uninstall the app and then install it again
-
@Tieutieu found a workaround also, disconnected from Bluetooth devices list

I noticed that if i create a custom sport mode for open water swimming, and i use “swim distance” it remains always to 0 even if “swim lap distance” increase normally. If i use generic “distance”, it works, but distance is displayed in km instead of meters, someone can confirm?
-
@renton82 I believe that swim distance is the non GPS one (pool length multiplied by the times you stop). Openwater swim uses the normal GPS distance.
-
@runomatic I’ve only had one crash so far
-
@Kurt68 Did you contact the support about this?
-
@runomatic Yes, I also sent the log file. But have no feedback.
-
@Kurt68 did you send logs and communicated this to support, or just sent logs?
-
@isazi How can i send this logfiles? Can i take a look at these files by myself?
-
@runomatic there is a button in Suunto App (in Android go to the watch icon, then the three dots on top and send logs to Suunto). They are sent directly to Suunto’s cloud, I do not think there is a way for you to access them.
-
@isazi Hmm, i can’t find any button at the iOS Version.
-
@runomatic in iOS it is at the bottom of user profile tab
-
@Egika Thanks. Never have looked there…
-
@runomatic be aware, just sending logs to Suunto does not help much (or at all), because no one looks at them. You send logs when support asks you to do it, or in some cases some people here help forwarding your logs to Suunto when filling a bug report.
