Number of downhill runs in alpine skiing
-
@Egika yes its a problem. I checked today, and the watch was showing all zeros. Fortunately, it recorded the activity, so not all is lost.
-
@Egika I’ll try capturing the logs tomorrow

@MdzOtt said in Number of downhill runs in alpine skiing:
I noticed in SA that there were numerous tiny runs (a couple of metres), probably when moving through the line to the lift.
I had the same problem the last skiing season, Suunto needs to introduce an algorithm to filter out these irrelevant downhills, below a minimum distance and/or speed the section should be ignored

Not exactly topic but related…
I don’t know if « uphill bug » has been corrected for ski resort native sport mode (it counts distances and elevations of lifts…what force to correct manually total distance and elevation to 0). -
Oura !! Since 3.8.0 iOS beta app, ascent of ski resort is not counted in stats. Total distance is still counting lifts travels, and ascent is visible in detail, but not counted in app stats (but counted on watchface - vertical week one for instance).
In ski mode modification, ascent is not visible. I need to now change to run for instance to set ascent to 0 (works without registering modifications) and then put it strait back to ski resort before registering
