[BUG] Race 2 - If you set Pace zones, they disappear as intensity zones targets
-
If this is not the right place, please point me to the correct forum section.
I wanted to set my Pace Zone 2 as a target in the Intensity Zones Option of the Exercise Options of the “Runnung - Basic” Sport mode (this is happening in all running modes though), when I noticed there is no “Pace Zones” and only HR and Power zones:

I have set my Pace Zones in settings > training > etc… for running like this:

I then did a soft restart (pressing upper button 10s). The Pace zones were reset to the watch default (which shouldnt happen btw!), but at least “Pace Zones” were back as an option:

However, whe I readjusted the pace zones to my personal pace zones again, the option disappeared again in the sport mode “Excercise Options” > “Intensity Zones” settings! It is quite bad, this way you can’t easily train by pace zones, which really impacts the useability of the watch!
Has anybody else noticed this? I would assume this is rather a software/firmware error than an error by my watch itself.
TL;DR what to fix:
- Restart causes custom Pace Zones to be reset to watch default. This shouldnt happen.
- When you have set custom Pace Zones, there are not available anymore as intensity target
I am on the most recent firmware update:
2.48.16 on a Suunto Race 2 -

Yes, first mentioned here https://forum.suunto.com/post/180107
No idea if Suunto officially noticed this, but it is a serious issue.
This thread should be probably filed in https://forum.suunto.com/category/33/watches because it appears firmware related. -
