Software Update 2.44.52 (2025 Q3 - HOTFIX)

@isazi this makes me worry
I entered the debug menu and noted the error code shown under “last error”. Maybe that can help support to identify the problem.

since a few months I face a new battery drain on my Race s, not sure what is the root cause (sw update or hw issue - suunto replace my race s for the same kind of issue last year -. I’ve lost 15% of battery level last night. The HR reading is not great on my wrist, I regulary see the Rythm going very high when I start to run before stabilisation (close to my running cadence ?), even sometime I face a total loss of HR until I Pause my run. I tried Garmin and a poor Xiaomi watch to check, on both the HR reading was OK. Battery life and HR reading are both primary features of sport watch… Still not working properly after one year of update. Sunnto, wake up !

It seems to me that battery drain has been fixed. It looks like battery drains more like before.
-
@Dušan-Ković fixed battery drain? was there a hot fix I did not catch?
-
@Stefan-Kersting I think he missed a ‘not’ in his text.
-
@Stefan-Kersting No, watch just started depleting battery more slowly than before the update. Not sure if something is fixed, I just noticed that it lasts longer.

Hey guys,
This morning for the second time in a week i woke up to my watch being completly off and according to the app It turned off right when i went to sleep.
So i sent a first “crash log”.Then i went walking a bit, and the watch proudly annonced that i did 13000 steps (my objective), despite having walked roughly 2000 steps according to the app (and much more in line with what i really did), so i sent a second log.
Can somebody at Suunto check that out (and make a hotfix of the hotfix)

@Krista.B This issue seems to be fixed now! Thanks Suunto team for your continued efforts!

@Krista.B there is no update, sp nothing is fixed

bonjour a tous,
@Stefan-Kersting
After performing a hard reset and setting everything up from scratch, the current battery drain is about 10% per day, compared to 3% per day before the latest update. In simple terms, that’s roughly 10 days of use instead of the previously achieved and advertised 30 days (with 24/7 OHR enabled, notifications turned off, and no sport use — I haven’t started any activities such as running).To be honest, this feels similar to the early stages of the Fenix 8 MIP release, when excessive background CPU activity caused the MIP models to perform almost like AMOLED versions in terms of battery life. Garmin eventually resolved that issue, but it makes me wonder what Suunto changed in their latest firmware — what previously tested processes were modified, or what new background tasks were introduced — that could explain such a significant increase in power consumption.

@Belial This has been going on for quite some time, several updates back. And many users have remained stuck like this (about 10% per day) despite several supposed fixes.
-
@Belial just waiting for a hotfix…

Hello everyone. Could you please provide me with the link to version 2.43.12 for my Suunto Race? I want to downgrade to this version, as it is the only one I find more usable . The battery does not drain, external sensors no longer constantly disconnect, etc. Actually I’m on the last version 2.44.52
-
@Stefan-Kersting for which features/bugs?
-
@brechtvb battery drain feature
-
@Stefan-Kersting
It should definitely include sleep tracking.
I woke up at 7 a.m. on Sunday.
I walked around the house. I manually paired the watch. I scrolled through the watch.
But at 12 a.m., I got a “good morning” message
I don’t understand the logic behind it being based on location or what?
It’s getting worse. -
@Stefan-Kersting i’m waiting to pair some bike sensors, but Suunto watch doesn’t see the difference among them.
