@Brad_Olwin there is room for this in longer parts of a workout where you might drift away from your target in either direction. But for short intervals it is useless, as you never can switch your pace / HR or whatever in a second just to make the watch happy.

@Brad_Olwin with you in this one. I hope you can push this one through. Was so happy that Suunto did not had these alerts before.

@mando yes. I did my first structured workout today and my watch buzzed every single time I went in and out of a zone. It was awful! Plus, I’m rehabbing a knee injury and had walk/run intervals set and I never knew if it was buzzine the start of a rest or just a change in zone so I was constantly checking my watch. I want to be able to toggle the feature on or off as I can see it’s use if I’m trying to do a specific pace.

I absolutely agree. The constant alerts from intervals then also laps is just too much for me….Please make this an option.

I know we can put the watch in DND but there really should be an option to turn out of zone alerts off. Just like we already have with auto laps.

@deserthike20 @MotherRunner @aiv4r @2b2bff @mando I will convey this to Suunto but I may set up a poll or something here to help gain traction on this. The more that want a change the better chance we have. I will enquire on the field test site first to see if this is planned to be optional and get back to you here.

@tobstar since last firmware, you now have the option to disable activity notifications, look for this in the options menu before starting the activity, as they cannot be modified after activity has started.

@herlas on latest firmware of Suunto Race 1 there is no option for this. I can only disable all notification completely (sound or vibration). There is still no option for disabling only target alerts.

Watches constantly vibrate during the workout and it is very annoying because I cannot differentiate target alerts from interval/lap alerts to track my intervals.

It would be very good to see an option to disable target alerts in future updates.

@Stanislav-Kuzmin this has been implemented in April already.

@isazi I must be missing something but I cannot find this option on my watches. I’m running 2.53.42 firmware. Would you advise where can I find this option please? The only thing that I found is Activity notifications in Exercise options. But this switch enables or disables vibration completely.

@Stanislav-Kuzmin don’t you have “Activity notifications” and “Mobile notifications” in the “Exercise options” menu?

@isazi Yes, I have these menu items. In Activity notifications there are two switches: Sound and Vibration. If I disable Vibration it disables all vibration in the workout. While I need to maintain notification of interval start/end and disable target notifications (hr, tempo, etc).

@Stanislav-Kuzmin I understand now, my mistake, it is still not possible to only mute (or configure) S+ guides “notifications”
