      Out of curiosity, what screen did this happen to you on? I’ve had several such restarts, always on the map screen.

        @maszop my only restart, yet happened on the ZoneSense screen or on the first screen of the buit-in basic profile.

          When I was running the Lee trail it was on the maps screen. But this weekend when it happend I didn’t use a map it was just on normal screen for running.

              Second crash today in about 1 year with the Race S. Crashes in the last 20 years with Garmin FR201, FR910xt, Huawei watch, Ambit3, Suunto5 and Suunto9P: Zero!
              I don’t get that we are discussing about how many crashes per year are normal given this relation.

                @VoiGAS had a crash today. First time I’ve seen how it looks like during the crash. Half of the screen was black and buttons stopped working. Watch restarts a few seconds later. Crash was after 4 km.

                  @mabe2k Oh no 😞. Do you have the latest firmware? They fixed something there.
                  Your crash looks different than mine, for me it went black and rebootet. But maybe I missed the moment

                      I have the Same Issues since the last Softwareupdate… First crash was in a Longrun mid September and the Second crash yesterday in another Marathon. Very frustrating that a watch that once worked flawless now have this kind of issues! (Suunto Race 1)

                        @Philipp, @mabe2k, I also had crashes on my Race with 2.44.52, every few hours, within or outside of activity. Reverted just now to 2.44.46, waiting to see if it will crash or not. Will let you know.

                          @halajos I had crashes with my Race during training sessions starting with the software update in December 2024. This was the first crash with the current software version. And it was the first time I‘ve seen the crash. The other times, the watch restarted and I just saw the watch face afterwards.

                            @mabe2k, @Philipp, no crash since rolling back to 2.44.46. With the 2.44.52 SW. it crashed multiple times a day.

                              New behaviour today with Race S: It crashed directly after starting an activity. Better than in the mid, but still…

                                @VoiGAS in my experience the crashes with 2.44.52 are random, during or outside of activity doesn’t matter. No crash since 2 days with 2.44.46

                                  @halajos Maybe just the reset to factory settings did the trick? Hard to say I guess…
