Suunto Vertical: Bug Collection

@LitchiMonster the intensity zone screen still does not work properly with latest firmware, as described in my previous post, if anyone was wondering
-
So I believe we can call it a bug.
Laps are not reachable on watch activity logs for activities before the last update (2.30.26).
-
@Michaƫl-POINTEAU this is not really a bug, as it is by design.
Activities completed before a firmware update are somehow compressed. This comes with laps being not available and also the graph in the summary screen does disappear in the log book in the watch. -

as @Egika wrote : it always has been like this : after a FW update, details of past activities in watch logbook are no more available.
but, another question comes to me :
@Egika , with the new change where activities are stored in emmc, will the situation still be the same ? (details remaining after FW update) -
@Mff73 weird. With my Ambit 3 peak I donāt remember this.
-
@Michaƫl-POINTEAU
When I mean āalwaysā, I mean āsince Spartanā
And when we say āno detailā, we mean āno graphs, no zones details, no lapā, but it remains ascent/descent and some others. -
@Mff73 currently graphs still cleared with a firmware update.
-
@Egika
Rodger ! -
The clock disappeared The optical heart rate sensor does not turn off after training.
-
@ciniak77
did you try the same 4 fields view? -
@ciniak77 just exchange the average heart fiel with the instant heart rate.
The āavgā mention where itās placed avoid time display (screen resolution) when using 7 field display. -
@LitchiMonster What is the issue, your description is insufficient ānot workingā is not much to go on to try to help.

Weekly duration has some issues on the new watch faceā¦sometimes appears, sometimes does not.
Backlight activation had no impact on values shown. I cycled through that complication a few times and noticed that the value reappeared a few minutes later
-
@stromdiddily noticed that too once. Not sure based on what it does that.
-
@tomasbartko my value is still showing last week number (did not reset to zero today)

yeah, same for me actuallyā¦my week starts Monday but am still showing last weekās duration total now

Just a small bug - On the analog watch face, the activity figure at the top often shows 0.00, even though Iāve had some hours of activities. If I then go to the Logbook widget, and then back to the watch face, the activity figure then shows the same figure as the widget. This can happen several times per week.
I do wish more of the complications on the analog face were customizable. Only one can be changed, and only with two options - less than any of the other watch faces!
-
And one more āpossibleā small oneā¦ In the SV manual it seems to suggest that the circle around the little graphic on the resources widget would change colour depending on my state. Mine stays resolutely the same colour regardelss (sort of orange), even though in the app it turns green first thing in the morning.
I may have misunderstood and it is not supposed to change, but if it is supposed to, then it should. Clearly not a deal breaker (obviously!), and barely worth a mention in the overall scheme of things, butā¦ I do like things that should work, to work!

Hi there,
Since the new firmware is on, my watch seems to loose the gps signalā¦. Is there any solution?
I run some of my home trails and at some point my vertical show that Iām far away from the track/trail -
New owner of a beautiful Suunto Vertical, Iāve had the opportunity to do several trail, running and hiking outings with it.
On my trail and running activities, I paired it with my Garmin HRM Pro Plus heart rate monitor. Pairing was very easy, but I had a signal loss problem, as youāll see from the curves below: the HR measurement stops randomly before the end of the activity, and doesnāt come back.The activities are done in personalized modes, the second with wrist HR measurement activated, and the first with measurement deactivated. The beltās battery level is good, the battery is recent, and this is confirmed when I connect it to the Garmin app.
Have you encountered a similar problem? Have I missed an option somewhere?
Thanks in advance!
