No issue here, everything works so fine !
Yes Maps download takes time…but not a big deal anyway.
(One only thing I may regret a bit from S9B : the charger magnet that was just so steady.)
(Only « bugs » : in SA name of the watch is not displayed on activities for now, and when uploadind activity I had strange icones on overlay - but only in the diary, not when entering the activity ! ).Battery : all set up made my way (hr and sleep tracking on, back light to minimum - it is sooo enough !, no spo2 measurement, wrist turn activated to back light on…) => went to bed with 96% battery. Woke up with 95% !

@freeheeler that apparently did the trick, thanks! I thought it’s pulling data from the phone.
-
@surfboomerang There isn’t weather listed as an available widget on the app, maybe that’s my issue. I’ll try deleting and reinstalling the app and see if that helps.

@Brad_Olwin
the titanium does look fantastic
it appears to me as if it is anodized. coating would give another impression of the surface IMO -
@fejling Soft reset of the watch fixed it. Now I know it’s raining before I look out of the window!

I have a question: isn’t possible to disable backlight completely? During the day is useless…
-
Received mine yesterday too. Solar version with black band. Beautiful watch.
Installed the latest firmware and downloaded my map. Smallest version for Lower Saxony (Germany) is almost 800 MB, so it took quite a while.I have a question regarding the backlight. It appears quite uneven on my watch. Especially at ‘4 o’clock’ is a very noticeable shadow if the background colour is white.
Is it just mine or do they all look like this?

Setting>general>backlight
Turn off all -
@renton82
you can switch off raise to wake.
by the way: I found it to be too reactive and noticed that setting it to “low” reduces the sensitivity of lighting up -
@freeheeler Ok, i have set it as you said, but i would have preferred an option to turn off backlight completely…
-
-
@freeheeler I agree, it’s way more sensitive then the S9P. Maybe even too sensitive. I even noticed the backlight came on even in full sunlight.
Isn’t the light sensor suppose to prevent that? -
@dombo send me a PM if you have not contacted anyone else already.
-
@freeheeler there is no ‘Exercise only’ option anymore or am I missing something? I used this on my S9P as I do not need to light up screen in watch only mode…
-
@Likarnik I think a lot has changed here. I also missed the “Adaptive” option for standby-light.
-
@Tieutieu do you have iOS? For me on Android (beta) it shows watch name:
-
@Likarnik Vertical clearly made you faster
-
@renton82
if you toggle off standby and select off in raise to wake, there shouldn’t be any light anymore, no? -
@renton82 Also make sure backlight setting is off if you scroll down from the watch face
-
@freeheeler I think there is no way to switch off the light that comes on when pushing the buttons on the watch…
