@VoiGAS I do not have a power meter so my guess is Heart Rate. I have no idea if it is accurate. I have only had the V2 a few weeks, so this may skew the results but the results are quite a bit lower than the V1. But I also haven’t done any long rides.

@zhangschmidt if you are in the screen for flashlight it is two presses. Off button then swipe and you are back in the activity screen.

@SteffMG76 I’m not sure what you mean by atmospheric pressure being incorrect - do you mean altitude? I believe you should be able to enter a different height but the pressure is the pressure (and changes with the weather hence you may need to adjust the altitude).

I have the same problem. I can’t stand this behavior anymore — I’ve had the watch since October 1st, and every day I have to deal with resets and sensor shutdowns, especially at night when it should be monitoring HRV and sleep. I’m sending it in for service on Saturday. Since the issue seems limited to a few Vertical 2 units, I hope they’ll replace it. The battery performance also isn’t great: with one hour of training per day, battery life doesn’t last more than a week.

@Gideon-Kaempfer [image: 1762407387194-1000118231.png] again, on the same route yesterday. Cycling with a well adjusted nylon strap. Low speed, nothing bumpy, very relaxed. Even during stops at traffic lights the HR remains totally off (double my HR). However, immediately after I finish the activity, the watch jumped back to my correct low HR. As if stopping the activity allowed the sensor to get back to its senses. I have had HR sensors on multiple watches for years but this is definitely the worst. Needs quick fixing. It’s not a mere few beats off. It totally distorts any metric based on HR. Makes a very significant part of the watch useless.

As this topic is about weight I want to add something Ontopic: The measured weight of the silicone strap is 19g versus the textile only weighting 5g! Impressive and in line with the TOs measurements

@HonzaS I tried hard reset. It helped for one activity, which was stable and precise, however next activities were bad again, another hard reset did not help. I am quite surprised, because my Vertical 1 was always spot on. Thanks. What is your general experince with V2?

@pongpinun said in Vertical 2 button not responding / Watch busy state: [image: 1762225452265-209a97f1-e350-498e-97fc-c0d3baf73346-image.png] . Today talk with Suunto no more detail about fw bug fix. I’ve never seen any company that answer for private msg a date of fix of something Would be surprised. Usually company use term “soon”.

@sky-runner I think it’s a sport watch as said I also prefer spm but I did not see any issue to change mind goal to use rpm (and cadence is one of the 4 field of my my data screen during all my run activities) Cheers

@tomahawk5000 Yes, but it’s still important to report it to Suunto so that the issue appears less rare than they might think. Here is the response translated into English: *Hello, Thank you for contacting us and for providing detailed information about the issue you’re experiencing with your Suunto Vertical 2. I understand how frustrating it must be when the lock function stops responding. This is a known issue affecting certain watches running firmware version 2.46.12, and our development team is currently working on a solution. In the meantime, you can try the following steps to minimize the problem: Restart: Press and hold the upper right button for 12 seconds to restart the watch when it becomes unresponsive. Avoid using the lock function until the next firmware update, if possible. Check for firmware updates: A new version with a fix may be released soon. Connect your watch to the Suunto app and check if any updates are available. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work on a permanent solution. As soon as a fix is available, it will be deployed through a firmware update via the Suunto app. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you experience any other issues or need help following the steps above. Kind regards*

@cosme.costa In my case, this condition never had to be met. Apart from the well-known incident a year ago, I have noticed normal battery consumption in SV1.

@Horizontal_2 not officially. Some people that read the forum work at Suunto, some are beta testers. So some feedback trickles to Suunto…

@prashant I would say it depends on what you need. Suunto‘s health tracking features like sleep, recovery, resting HR, HRV etc. are imo mainly there for training guidance (e.g. if you’re training is too hard or just right or not hard enough for reaching your goals). You can of course also use them for personal health tracking, but don’t expect a lot of guidance here, like advices on when to go to bed etc. You will have to interpret your data yourself (like if your resting HR raises and your HRV drops, you might be getting sick). For pure health tracking and special guidance (e.g. sleep coaching) you might be better off with something like an Oura ring. Some personal experience: those health tracking devices like Whoop, Oura etc. are great to establish healthy routines like a good sleep routine or showing you how bad alcohol is for your recovery. But I would recommend listening to your feelings first and only look into those metrics, when you feel bad for no real reason. Then they may give you some useful information, but otherwise what do you get from a device telling you, that you’re recovery is 70% vs 85% on another day

@bernard63 it reminds visible but not as clear. The background goes black and it is hard to see sideroads or similar. The blue navigation line is clear. It isn’t an issue when on foot as the moment you raise your wrist it lights up. But is an issue on a bike. I find I can follow it OK on a bike but the MIPs display on the V1 was better when cycling.
