My max HR is about 165. That didn’t bother my Vertical 2 titanium with nylon strap tight on my arm to register exactly double my HR during an entire low intensity bike ride.
      On the app
My normal HR is low. You can see it started at about 60 BPM which is correct. Strava AI noticed something was wrong 😄

I had the same problem. I tried factory reset, and confirmed I am using the latest update Version 2.46.12
I am an ultra running over 10+ years in running and have been a big fan of another brand and thought I would give Vertical 2 a go.
I immediately noticed my heart rate is about 20-30bpm higher than normal so I thought it may just need some time to adjust. It didn’t help, even after 10 runs in the past 2 - 3 weeks ranging from short distance 5km to 30km plus.
I can confirm that as I also wore my Garmin which I have been relying on for the past few years. Finally, I even had a blood pressure monitor to measure my heart rate immediately and I confirm the Vertical 2 monitor is way off… please help too!

@Gideon-Kaempfer 1000118231.png again, on the same route yesterday. Cycling with a well adjusted nylon strap. Low speed, nothing bumpy, very relaxed.
Even during stops at traffic lights the HR remains totally off (double my HR). However, immediately after I finish the activity, the watch jumped back to my correct low HR. As if stopping the activity allowed the sensor to get back to its senses.
I have had HR sensors on multiple watches for years but this is definitely the worst. Needs quick fixing. It’s not a mere few beats off. It totally distorts any metric based on HR. Makes a very significant part of the watch useless.
