@guillermo-ortega-cerro This has been asked before and I will close this to avoid duplicates. Those who know are under NDAs, you will not find answers to what you are asking but there is a lot of discussion here.
the system calibrate itself if I train with GPS for a certain period
That is how it normally works. Walk and run using GPS to calibrate the “watch” for non GPS activities.
That said, precision without GPS cannot be guaranteed, so don’t expect measurement precise to the meter
@hinnerki - some other here would probably have to advise, but personally I would say from my experience no it wouldn’t work as ideally you need to wear these 24/7 and while Suunto’s eco system isn’t quite as tight and as integrated as Garmin’s you do miss out on the health side by not doing this.
Technically I suppose you might be able to set up 4 suunto accounts and then maybe manually import the tracks in (not sure if suunto would allow one watch to 4 accounts). Alternatively you could use a 3rd party training analysis app and export the individual tracks to the appropriate accounts - probably your best way of doing this.
Have you though of looking at ebay to pick up a second hand one - they don’t go for that much, and you could possibly get 1-3 for the price of a new one.
Screen burn is a known issue on the S7 unfortunately, Suunto will replace the screen for you if the watch is within warranty (2 years for me, I’m unsure if that is the same worldwide).
I have only this week had my watch back from repair, a refurbished screen was fitted and the watch is as good as new… for now… 🙏
Hi Mika. I have the same problem and it was at the same time. It seems that is some upgrade of the system. In my case I have an iphone. I am trying to solve it in contact wit Google support tems, but still we have not get any solution. I guess one of the problems is to try to connect three different systems: Google; iOS and Suunto.
@Redbuller
das ist ein defekt und man nennt ihn eingebrannter bildschirm. da kannst du leider nichts machen, aussser eine reparatur bei Suunto beantragen
