My watch was received by Suunto in Helsinki on 4th August. It’s an S7 I’ve returned for screen burn just before the two year warranty expires. Someone on the Facebook group sent theirs in and it was returned in 7 days so I expected similar… The email notifying me of its receipt stated 20 working days - I hoped this was a standard response
I had a further email today apologising for the delay and stating they are unable to repair my watch at the time agreed, but offering no further timescales. I am unsure if that’s repairing it within the 20 days or even longer! I’m disappointed to be without it as all my performance stats are becoming flawed.
Does anyone have any insight into why support is taking so long, or how long you have had to wait? Thank you.
@quattrojames may be lack of components, S7 was manufactured in China, not Finland, and production has been discontinued. I am guessing though.
