Fully agree, when the track of the activity is a bit complex, the actual speed is way too high

I would also Like this feature. At the Moment the possibility to mark laps/rounds doesn‘t make sense.

Closed because it’s a duplicate… So duplicate, you even link to the previous feature requests.

@brad_olwin I confirm you that EPOC is available as data field in real time during the activity and so it’s easier for SUUNTO to implement EPOC based training target. What I l do not like much about EPOC is that it is based on cardiac (or internal) effort and not on muscular (or external) effort as rTSS/TSS does. For that, is not much of help for athletes who practice several sports (RUN, CYCLING, SWIM). For that reason I think SUUNTO would do great move extending this kind of metrics because they already do a real difference for the better vs the other brands.

@mdzott That would be a very reasonable solution; I may be an outlier but I would not mind activating something in the Suunto app before my workout. Hopefully it is something that can be implemented relatively easily and someone at Suunto will heed this request/suggestion. I would really like to see this feature appear in the app shortly.

Yesterday I did a survey from Suunto about navigation and maps on the S7, and I commented we miss the altitude profile while following a route

@g287-sf - Lifesum can do a lot of this and does have a wear os component to it (I probably need to take another look at it again). Last year when I was assessing it, I however ended up going with MyFitnessPal as I prefer the integration in terms of getting food recorded, loading recipies and quickly assigning food, and its reporting style was a lot easier to compare it to target goals, especially as my focus is more on my carb intake and balancing that againt protein and fat.

@AndreaTraverseAS What are you using the watch for? How long do you plan to be out? This is not a simple question as the S7 can record for 12-18h but not that long with a route loaded (7-10h) and has maps. The S9 baro will go much longer and has a simple route to follow that can be loaded. I use them both.
