@MatthiasKlug @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Based on my finding with Spartan Sport wrist hr baro, v 2.8.24, if you have auto laps ON, manual laps are not displayed in watch.
When you switch auto laps OFF, then you are able to see the manual laps on watch.
In both cases, even when you have auto laps ON and manual laps are not visible on watch, the manual laps are correctly shown on Suunto App. I think this sounds like bug or at least strange working feature. Ultimately it would be great if you have separate fields (in sport mode customization) for auto and manual laps.
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I still have the problem, that notifications which have been read or acknowledged on the mobile, still show up in the watch - until next forced restart of the watch. Is there another possibility to get rid of them? And I have one recurring event which still is popping up immediately after restart even there is no notification on the mobile (iPhone SE, whole day event for several days (series) with notification 1 day in advance). I have two such events in my calendar, only the “first” is showing up after restart in the watch. After EACH restart! Was able to fix at least this part, the event was dedicated to a group which I am in (OK) and additionally to me directly as well (WRONG)!
@atrekinthesun
if you put on the belt on dry skin it will have problems to measure your heart rate.
try to put a bit water to the belt’s connector patches before the run.
I rarely have issues, no warmup before it works!

With SA we are loosing that.
Well, yes and no.
Actually SuuntoLink warn you to sync before running the FW update afair.
In my opinion a warning is not an automated operation that avoids a potential risk of loosing moves. I mean with SL+MC, in normal mode, you do not loose anything when you do a FW update. With SL+SA you must do both operations in two different platforms with an order. In my opinion is clearly a lost function/feature and something that Suunto should adress (NOT prio one clearly).
Actually, in my experience in the forum, this kind of posts have started to appear when people has started to disconnect from MC, so probably people is not well aware of the behavior. Of course there is the warning but, as I said , this is clearly an improvement point.
@isazi said in Unable to turn off gps in indoor climbing:
@Likarnik I believe I can help you with this. I guess you are using the default Climbing activity and just disabled GPS. Because in the data fields you still have speed and distance those things are recorded using the accelerometer in your watch. Create a new sport, based on Climbing, and just add data fields that you deem useful (I just have time, HR, calories). Use that and it will work.
What a Champ you are!
Thank you! I was using the default climbing profile, your solution worked fine.
2 different issues here:
Missing HR info in laps (already reported here)
No Interval info: this is happening now, we cannot see intervals info.
Perhaps Suunto could add as new column with auto-laps and manual laps…

But at least you can monitor it with your WHR Finnish device
Forgot to mention that the Endomondo support answered my request some time ago (Jan 28)
"Thanks for writing. I apologize for any inconvenience syncing with your Suunto watch and Endomondo has caused due to certain workout types. Please know that I have forwarded this along to the development team and they are investigating the cause. At this time, I’m unsure of how quickly it will be fixed, but we do hope to have the problem taken care of soon. We will to try our best to reach out to you again when a fix for this issue is available. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we troubleshoot the problem.
If you have any additional information that may aid in our investigation, please let me know."
I hope as well. You should in general have good tracks but as said before I have seen this happen. To my knowledge I see it 1/100 times happen but somehow then it’s related to something I dont know how to define.
