Re: Suunto Vertical: Bug Collection
I am now surprised and upset that Suunto is shooting the next watch on the market without fixing the bugs of the Vertical. The part was not that favourable after all. I have been a Suunto fan for many years, Suunto for me always stood for quality that I could rely on when diving. But the Vertical Titan disappoints me as an outdoor watch. The only thing is the long battery life with which it impresses. Really a shame -
@Sporty67 I share your disappointment.
For a flagship model to fall behind another in terms of firmware is not often seen.
To have to take a Suunto 5 (low end model) for longer workouts because I’m just waiting for the Vertical to freeze… That’s a sad story for a lot of money.

Really a shameIn order to simplify your surprise: if you search a bit , Suunto is not the healthiest company in terms of monetary results, so guess what , they need money, cash flow.
Without cash, there is no support , so it’s now understandable how they did launch a new watch before fixing the other.
Other brands do it also. It’s life.
Also, it was already shared by them they are working on a firmware and also which new features it will have, and I want to believe if it is taking so much is that they want to test it.
There is already so much topics on it, it starts to be beating a dead horse.
If you want to take action, contact support about your bugs and if not truly satisfied try to ask for your money back, because it fails to do whatever is specified and that bugs. -
@André-Faria This, barring further hiccups, should be the decisive month for the release of the fw. I have taken some time to read the forum to get an idea, and from the responses of the moderators and beta testers I sense a certain optimism that the problems will be resolved or at least mitigated. I therefore hope for a good result for those who are dissatisfied and for the brand. If this is still not the case, the saying applies: you reap what you sow.

Since there are already plenty of discussions about new firmware, I’m closing this one to avoid duplicates.
