      Hi,
For all my walking activities hrTSS value calculated by Suunto+ “TrainigPeaks Heart Rate” app is always far lower than value in SA. Why? For example for my today walking:

      • SuuntoPlus TrainingPeaks hrTSS: 35 (saved in activity summary),
      • in SA for the same activity hrTSS: 60.

@smopi Your HR threshold in SA and TP are set up differently. Your LTHR needs to be set at the Z4/Z5 boundary in SA and set in TP as the same under Threshold HR. They will then match

@Brad_Olwin Thank you for your answer, but that’s not the case here. hrTSS in SA and TP are the same. The problem is with the SuuntoPlus “TrainingPeaks Heart Rate” application. The hrTSS value shown in real time during activity is too low. In this particular case, at the end of the activity it was 35, and in SA after saving it was 60.

hrTSS saved in the activity summary on my watch

hrTSS in SA (the same activity of course)

I noticed this too. The hrTSS as calculated by the SuuntoPlus App ‘TrainingPeaks - HR’ differs from SA and TP (with the correct zone 4-5 threshold set).

I fiddled around in TP, and if I set my threshold HR in TP to my maximum HR (which is incorrect, of course), I can get TP to match the value of the SuuntoPlus App. So, I think there is a bug in the SuuntoPlus app in that it’s using the maximum HR as a threshold instead of the zone 4-5 limit.

@pschenn I also think there is a bug with that app. I can report it again.

@isazi Might be we could suggest to modify the app such that the HR threshold is registered in the app it self.
I have experienced the problem reported and stopped using thi particular app which seems do not take into account z4/z5 boundary set from users
