Hello! Since updating my Suunto Vertical to the latest version, I have noticed the following issues: The Wi-Fi menu stays permanently set to “Off” (as shown in the photo). [image: 1743421771513-img_1695.jpg] On the new watch faces, especially the Athletics watch face, the data remains frozen and does not update throughout the day. For example, if I set the energy level complication in the bottom left corner, it stays at the same level. The only way to update it is to reset the watch or start an activity. I have read that many others are experiencing the same issues. Is there a solution, or do I have to wait for the next update (in about three months)?

@Klaane said in Battery drain: The battery on my Suunto Vertical Solar has dropped from fully charged to 55% in only two days. Last night it dropped by 15% while I was sleeping with the watch on. I have mobile notifications and 24/7 HR turned on but it still shouldn’t drain that fast, right? Standby backlight is off and I’ve used GPS for less than 10 minutes during those two days. Do I have a defective battery or could this be some other issue? It sounds frustrating! While mobile notifications and 24/7 HR can drain the battery, a 15% drop overnight seems excessive. Try resetting your watch or updating the firmware. If the issue persists, contacting Suunto support might help.

hmm… Any other having issue with “raise to wake”? Backlight seems to stay on like 1 second if it even works (tried restart already). Otherwise quite happy with update,

@linda-Parsons Have your tried a soft reset or a hard reset? This sounds quite odd.

@EzioAuditore said in Is the Vertical as sub-standard as it seems?: @zhang965 Hey darling, just wanted to know how are you holding up after 9h+ of no Gamin connect? Oh and second: Do you trust your health data uploaded on their services? Damn twice till now this happens but the users get: we are sorry sever outage Apple will eat them all as it seems (sorry for polluting the thread but I had to take it out of my system) Although you have a valid point, for the good and bad with garmin you can still plug on a computer and take your workout, flash firmware etc etc…

@sartoric said in solar charging: @Wojciech-Łużniak That’s exactly what happens with battery drain. It’s not solar, it’s very probably due to GPS, or maybe solar but causes are not 100% identified Did you soft reset the watch before ? In the end, I get it . you’re correct. The drain continued today, without any particular reason. I’ve connected watch to charger and for the last 10 mins it remains at 30%. I did the soft reset in the past, also when calibrating the battery. Thanks guys for help, I’ll wait for the fix

@Kai-Liu comment was about audit. And an independent audit clarifies it, not what media has to say or not. But so much for independence in C. One can’t even say Winnie the Pooh there 🧸

@RightNow Yes sure everyone one is entitled to expressing their concerns. I have only positive feedback for them since I too have contacted them couple of times and they were always helpful. I do not know though how can ‘distance calibration’ be affected by the shoes. The calibration is applied to it via the GPS (when using Stryd with Garmin or Apple at least). The shoes affect all other metrics but dont think that 1km is different if you run it with one or other pair. It will always be 1 km.

@Clément-Lavabre contact support, I doubt is the firmware considering that other people with the same firmware do not have the issue.

@Mff73 said in HotFix release 2.25.66: if only the watch could buzz and ring when rebooted, it could enable at least to notice quickly that something happen and react (if not in a hurry race ). I was thinking the exact same thing! Where should this suggestion go so that the folks at Suunto would see it and maybe implement it in the upcoming year or two?

Do we know anything about the step counter yet? Any update? It’s was so far off for me that I temporarily have changed my daily watch to another brand.
