solar charging

Re: Suunto Vertical: Bug Collection
- Is it possible to know what percentage of the battery I gained during solar charging
- how can it possible for two watches in the same place under the same lighting to receive a different solar charging level (at least this is what is shown in the solar graph of the watches)
-
@Danny-poleg I guess two watches cannot be in exactly the same place:). May depend on angle of light, etc. I have two Vertical watches and wearing one on either arm for long runs certainly gives different solar charging levels. I do not know what the algorithm does that predicts charging but one could imagine it is not at the level of precision that you are expecting.

You already asked this question here, https://forum.suunto.com/post/125166
Even if no official answer came, there seems to be some hint for you to test (if you want to test
) : reboot the watch which doesnβt charge as fast as the other, and check again.
If you donβt want to test
, donβt hesitate to send me two solar SV, I can try (joke mode
).
