Recovery time countdown is broken
-
@lexterm77 it’s in the training time widget, where you can see your daily/weekly training time. Just scroll down

Mine is stuck also, after 6h sits still.
-
@lexterm77 mine moves slower (should be 9h instead of 15) too. I am not sure if thats a bug or a feature? On Garmin devices your recovery rate depends on how well you sleep ( and since I did not sleep to well last night, it would make sense, that my recovery rate is slower).

I have several activities done on SV and recovery did not cumulate for those in previous days although I did not monitor them.
If recovery countdown holds because I am dehydrated, have severe caloric deficit and had to much anaerobic spikes, or had too much of a sauce, I want this feature.I remember it was same as on non firstbeat Spartans, if my memory serves me well, watch paused recovery if I did not really recover. I hope this is the case with new SV.
Edit: it does work, only updates very slow. It is midnight now and all of a sudden it says 5 hours left, two hours ago it said it was still 20h.

@lexterm77 for me it still moves slow. Was 15h before sleeping now its on 12 (after 7:30h in bed), but Suunto’s sleep tracking reported me only 36% sleep quality on wake up, so maybe possible 🧐

Same here.
Yesterday, after a light run (10K Z2) Vertical showed 12h recovery time (9:30am). Also resources were dropped from ~70% to ~10%…
After 14h (23pm) Vertical kept showing 12h recovery time. This morning, 8 eight hours after last time I watched 12h recovery time, Vertical showed 0h recovery time.
With my S9P, recovery time is gradually going down, is this also a bug in SV? -
It has been already reported to Suunto.
-
@isazi yeah its buggy and seems to just stop, then fall a bit, then stop again. I am still at 12h recovery, like today at 7 am. and while being a principal is truly a hard job I don’t think there was no time for recovery until now 5 pm
-
@isazi So, interestingly enough the timer appears to have been unstuck. At least now it reports something that’s plausible following yesterday’s morning training that resulted in 31 hours till recovery.
There’s still something that’s off about it, namely the progress bar. It was half filled when 30 hours got added following long run. I’d imagine if you go to 0 hours at the start of the run to 30 hours, the bar should get reset to 0.

I’ll be able to provide updates if I hear something from Suunto, for now it has just being acknowledged as a reported bug.
