Suunto Vertical: Bug Collection

Has anybody checked the temperature show in vertical is above 6-8 degrees higher
-
@lilaceo Higher than what…?
Keep in mind that if you wear the watch, your body temperature also heats the watch. I left mine on the table for a while and it matches the room temperature. -
@jjpaz I had it workout well this week up until last night!

Did you remove the watch from your wrist long enough before comparing? Thermal inertia could be important : the whole watch must be at ambiant temp to check.
If yes, then, like @freeheeler, your watch seems to have something faulty. -
@DrSilverthorn Thanks, but I’m interested in getting the AUTOlaps show up, in addition to the manual laps. The manual laps always show up, but the autolaps are missing.
Any ideas?

@TurtleCub
I don’t seem to find the history for context…
manual lap and auto lap notification or on the table screen? -
Hello! Anyone since last update Does it happen to you that when you are on the map, the location is not centered on the screen? I have to postpone as I go. Do you have any solution?
-
@Carlos97atz do you have the ruler enabled? Then it won’t automatically re-center. You have to tap the screen for it to re-enter.
-
-
@Carlos97atz and it also doesn’t re-center if you tap the screen?
-
I can confirm that the map doesn’t center automatically like before, if you move the map.
To make it centered again on position, just tap once on screen.
I don’t think it’s a bug, but more likely a welcome update. First I was disturbed but in fact it’s pretty cool because when you move the map that’s because you want to see another area. Before it was almost impossible to navigate on map due to auto-center.I just tested it accidentally this afternoon during a trail running on a place I didn’t know ; I was forced to change from the route I had prepared due to submerged roads (overflowing), and it was very cool to navigate on map without auto center. One tap on screen and it’s back on center.
(Ruler was disabled)So for me, nice improvement.

@surfboomerang if I tap one time it centers again

Hi Carlos, remember that the “official” language of the forum is English, you will reach more people, that will be able to help you if you write in English.
Regarding your comment, you can do it if you edit the route in the Suunto App, doing that it will show your position. I do not know if you know that with Suunto you can send different routes to the watch mid activity and the you can load them from the watch. -
Hi!
As others noticed, there definitely was a regression in the latest sw update (to 2.33.12). When I put the watch on charge, the display goes off and never wakes up. Luckily, it recovers after a long press of the upper button. As far as I remember, this behavior wasn’t there before, but is there consistently after the update.
Given that this makes charging pretty awkward, a bug-fix release would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Jakub -
@Jakub-Sliacan I did have this charging issue when I first purchased the Vertical (November). So on the old software. It only happened once.
And I saw post of other people saying the same issue before the update, it may not be update related. -
Hi all,
Quick bug here, the heart rate is like auto disabled when I leave the watch on the table even for like 1h. I have to restart the watch to have it back. Without restart, I can’t check my heart rate from the widget and I don’t have it either during sport. -
@darxmurf
rule number 1: the watch has to be on the wrist, ALWAYS!
seriously… did you try multiple times?
I never use the HR widget on my daily watch, but I have watches laying around for days and they show my HR instantly when I put them on my wrist.
