Suunto Vertical: Bug Collection

I noticed that the watch sometimes doesn’t lock after a minute of inactivity on the watchface. It keeps showing the seconds in the display.
After swiping the touchscreen or pressing the button, the watch is functioning normal again and locks after a minute.Not confirmed but highly suspected is that the watch is even unlocking itself sometimes. I’m pretty sure I didn’t press any buttons, but still see the seconds displayed on the watchface.

@surfboomerang which watchface? It never happened to me, and I usually use the new one.
-
@isazi I also use the new watchface (the one with the solar bars). I don’t see it very often, but will try to capture it when it happens again
-
@isazi I have „gaps“ in the Resources (on the watch and corresponding in the app )
I never had this with other Suuntos. Is this happening to others too? Does not bother me too much, but maybe a small bug, so reported here.
-
@ChrisA I see this on my app too

@ChrisA
Looks like by you -
@ChrisA I have had similar pattern once in resources but not in HR.
-
@ChrisA send logs and PM me.
-
@ChrisA it isn’t exclusive for SV, I have this on S9PP too. Sometimes just resources (HRV could not be measured?), sometimes resources+heart rate (HRV+HR could not be measured?).
I wear my watch strap pretty loose and don’t mind an occasional measurement is lost.

Hi. Maybe user error but I can’t find how to turn off dnd. I have set sleeping hours until 08:00 but on workdays I get up at 06:00 and wanted to turn off dnd but could not find it. It was possible on the S9b.
Thanks. -
@helgonet12 just down in the watchface menu
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I can’t find it 🫣. It is not there? Just possible to choose wach face and colours.

@helgonet12
lower button press 7 times… or once and scrolling on touch screen -
Since last tuesday, my SV Ti did a couple of unexpected reboots. The first time it happened before starting a stretching workout. I selected the stretching activity profile and the watch froze on the following screen. About 20s later it rebooted itself (I did not press any buttons except the start button three times).
The other times it happened during the day, when the watch displayed the solar charging watch face. I did not even interact with the watch. I saw the booting screen by accident. After reboot, the resources are always reset to 40%. I have seen this reset to 40% now 4 times (in 7 days). So I guess 4 reboots (+ the one when starting the stretching workout). Next time it happens, I will send the logs to Suunto immediately afterwards.
My settings: 24/7 HR on, sleep on, blood oxygen measurements during sleep, no notifications, standby off, backlight low, target notifications (steps,…) on, watch face is the solar charing watch face.
Lucky me: it never happened during the 16 hours of training I did since receiving the watch
-
@freeheeler thanks I found it . User error
-
@wmichi rebooting on its own should not happen. Did you send logs immediately after?
-
@isazi I’m able to reproduce not locking screen by going to weather screen on watch and leave it open. it will go back to the time but screen never locks for me and seconds are there. I have vertical non solar. I can send logs if you are not able to reproduce it.
-
@dombo so just go to weather, stay there, and watch does not lock itself ever after?
