      ![Hello,
I would like to see on my S9 baro, the DEPTH METER feature. It works very fine on Suunto Core watch and it was helpful when you swim/dive in the sea.

Here you can read the functionality:
      https://www.suunto.com/en-gb/Support/Product-support/suunto_core/suunto_core/using-alti--baro-mode/using-depth-meter-profile/

*You use the depth meter profile when snorkeling. It shows your current depth and the maximum depth you reached during a snorkeling dive. The maximum depth of the device is 32.8 ft (10m). When the depth meter profile is activated, a wave icon appears on the upper left part of the display.

When the depth meter profile is activated, you can access the following views with View:*xxxx.png

@matteo_000 I would really like it, but I doubt if this is technically possible for the S9B.

The pressure sensor is calibrated for air pressure and although “pressure is pressure” I don’t think you can easily use it for water pressure.

Suunto’s specs of the S9B says that the range for the altimeter is -500 - 9999. I don’t know if this is a software or hardware cap. According to some online calculators this gives roughly a pressure difference of 800 mbar, translating to about 8m of water depth. In my opinion not really useful as depth meter.

Maybe someone else has some more technical information about the pressure sensor used in the watch?

I used to love this feature on the Core, as it’s been few years since I’ve sold it I’m thinking about to get another one anytime soon just for this feature.

In my post topic S9 Watch faces I’m proposing among different ideas and face designs with customisable fields the option of having sea tide chart with high and low timings, the depth gauge would be again an extra plus to a real complete S9 watch family.

@rhustox Already stated the hardware of the 9 baro cannot do this (depth gauge). This was discussed some time ago as well.
