I am looking to buy a Suunto 9 Baro. I have searched the forums, but most posts I found are over two years old. Is there a duathlon mode for run-bike-run? Or do I create a custom multisport - in the Suunto app? Will this include transitions? Or do I customise the triathlon mode to swap a run for the swim? Thank you in advance.
@gerbow11 regarding multisport: during an activity you can hold the upper button down and change your current activity to the one of your choise seemlesly. After completing the workout all stats are available in the app.
There were also suggestions to have an autodetection for swim-run, but as of now there is no info if the feature makes it into software oupdate (stay tuned it should be out soon).
I can’t help you with other question, as I don’t do triatlon, but sure others will have more insight.
@дима-мельниченко okay. That’s great. Does the long press trigger a transition timer and then another long press would take me to the next sport, e.g. bike? Thanks. And in the app does it show up as one sport with a breakdown of each part (run - bike - run)?
@gerbow11 I don’t know about the first question, haven’t tried multisport myself yet.
About representation in the app - correct, it is exactly how it’s done.
There are no transition in multisport mode, but the data are split in the app.
