Spartan Sport WHR min HR
-
Hello there!
I searched some time to find a way to reach developers directly, so yeah I hope there are some around
I love my Spartan Sport WHR but sometimes it drives me crazy. HR measurement is completely wrong sometimes. It says a rate of around 60 although it cant be possible, at least for me. But in the other hand I can imagine there must be some kind of signal processing, noise filtering and probability estimation that comes to the conclusion, my heart rate is at 60.
So here comes my advice to enhance the estimation: use a user entered value for the minimum rate or at least find it out with the sleeping mode!
What about that?

@samweis My SSWHR never delivered good values when sleeping. My lowest was typically in the high 50s. With my Ambit3 my resting low sleeping was in the low 40s, which is about right since in a doctor’s office my sitting HR is in the mid 50s. So I found the low values at night with SSWHR were never good.

Just for the reference the lowest value ohr can do is 40 I think.

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos I think 50 need confirmation from FW development department

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos +1 to suunto as Garmin was able to show only 50
-
@slashas oh! Did not know that!
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Elevation sensor is getting better but still not in the same league. I use Scosche rhythm+ for the same reason as chest strap is not confortable for strength workout.
-
@slashas Strength workouts are very tricky with HR. I have tried a lot but not the Scosche.
I even had issues with inEar OHR. Too much blood on the head. -
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Scosche for me is the best, chest strap always slips away or I break sensor with equipment this is off topic, we should go to the lounge to discuss further

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos hi, where is this screen ?

Interesting piece of information: is that relating to the Valancell specifically? I’ve seen my Polar OH1 register down to 36bpm when I’m sleeping, but I haven’t worn that and a chest strap to validate.
