Does Suunto S9 work with the Vi
rtual Run App Zwift? -
@icravelife If by “work” you mean if it broadcasts heart rate, so it can be fed to Zwift, then the answer is no. Likewise, if you use footpod to capture pace/distance, because Suunto is Bluetooth-based, said connection will be taken over by it unless you rely on Suunto’s built-in speed from wrist and let footpod connect to the app directly. I guess the best you can hope for with Zwift when it comes to non-ANT+ units like Suunto and Polar is to have an additional source of heart rate data (strap or armband) and either a treadmill that can send its data to the app or a separate footpod for the app.

I hope with this new situation the indoor sports, which aren’t in the ones we love most but I think they’ve come to stay Suunto can look at the indoor sports and have a. better integration with it.
