Another suggestion from me for Suunto 9 Baro is ability to calibrate altitude during activity.
On previous watch I would pause activity, go into settings and calibrate altitude. It also had baro sensor (Polar V800).

Now you have to end the activity to calibrate the watch and often times I only know the exact altitude when I am near altitude marking during the run/hike. I have no idea why this has not yet been implemented considering how long the watch is on the market.
Maybe there is the reason I am not aware of? FusedAlti (it missed altitude of 430m by more than 10 meters for example)?

A suggestion made back in October, if not before. And, yup, happiness with FusedAlti is the answer for some. YM(eterage)MV.

          Thanks, I see that now.
It was not in the Feature suggestions section so let the moderator decide if it can stay here as a suggestion or it will be removed.

Amen. We mortals have done our bit.

@Cuba1hr because the feature suggestion section is for the Suunto App, not the watches.

This should be the section for @Cuba1hr suggestions:

                    It’s already there.

@jthomi Not to question your authoritah, just to understand the forum logic for future reference: why not the S9b firmware wishlist thread?

@Fenr1r surely would be good, but if we put all firmware suggestions in a single thread it becomes more difficult to search, discuss, and vote.

Since this forum is mainly about the Suunto App, we don’t have a subforum for specific watches and issues/bugs/suggestions about them. Like @isazi wrote, it will become more difficult to find this suggestions. I agree, its not perfect right now, but its still the SuuntoApp forum, not a forum for watches.

And forget about authority 😁 , we are all the same users or watch buyers here.

@jthomi But … you’re a MODERATOR. It says so after your handle! In sinister black, no less. I have to assume that’s a euphemism for forum heavy … like ENFORCER (but a grade or two down from TERMINATOR). The democratic tone doesn’t fool me. I know The Man when I read him (or possibly her).

And it’s a good thing. Otherwise chaos prevails and the forum descends into anarchy with a side-order of gibberish. Thank you.
