Structured intervalls?
-
-
Suunto doesn’t like it
-
@auxina
I’d like to read a reasonable explanation why… -
@MaxiPalle I believe the current advice is to keep the existing MC app if you want to carry on using the workout builder. The MC app is going to disappear from the app stores very soon (within days?).
-

@andrewjknox
but this does not help @MaxiPalle in case he has customized his sport modes with SA… he can not really go back to MC unless he does a factory reset and does not use any customized sport modes…edit: actually I don’t know if structured intervalls from MC app work with S9 at all??
-
@TELE-HO
Me too.
I don’t understand what Suunto thinks.
I recognize that I do not use it daily, but it is a very interesting function for any runner -
@auxina
I have never used it as I only started running again a little bit… but talking to my wife, she runs marathons, she says she uses intervall but out of her memory. when I am fighting for some more air, I don’t have anything in memory and I would try these structured intervalls -
@TELE-HO
It is a basic tool, and very useful.
I do not get it. It’s frustrating that Suunto watches don’t have this.
What guru has come up with this? -
@auxina buy a Polar Vantage or every Garmin, or a Apple watch or even Amazfit Stratos.
-
@Luís-Pinto Looks like COROS will be adding this feature soon, possibly in Q1 of next year. Heard back from them this morning after asking the question.
-
@andrewjknox ok, so one more option.
-
@TELE-HO no prob. I am currently testing and switching back and forth. if Suunto would organize Championships in re-creating individual Sport modes, I suppose I’ll on the podium.
Meanwhile I’m really annoyed. I loved my Ambits, but buying (and investing) in the S9 was a total wastage.
With the announcement, that Movescount App will disappear, I started to save money to buy another watch, probably a Garmin as the Suunto App still doesn’t provide what I need (and bought it for!).
-
@MaxiPalle
in your case, waiting for structured intervalls, I understand your decision.
I am happy with my S9B, but one big reason for that is QS… with S9B and SA I would not be really happy -
@TELE-HO said in Structured intervalls?:

-
@jsuarez
€ 500,- would be Dimitrios’ part… the watches sales price was 860,- CHF -
@TELE-HO me too .
I have the first proto of s9 at 2018. I bought my xalps proudly , about 1 year later at full price, after having used both A3/S9/SSU for all this time since 2016 (bought).
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
no discount for you?!?
…your work is worth at least a lifetime free watches!! -
@TELE-HO Agree! @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos is the “head” more valuable for Suunto. he said that is man on middle, like between customers and Suunto. Is much more than that. Suunto have lucky for have Mr. Dimi as worker.
-
@TELE-HO I get watches for free… Testing GPS or not.
But my watch, its the one I choose and pay for it.
Some of the ones I get I give them to people I know , physical friends mostly.
I used (relatively speaking) to collect the “test/prototype” watches but now with clearance I give 'em to people.
I don’t like personally to keep things anymore if they are to remove “help/joy/etc” from others, just to give me “memorable value”.
