The block feature is a really nice way to simply not see a lot of negative posts that seem to be quite prevalent at the moment. I have only used it once so far, but am considering a second implementation. It gets very tiring to read posts from users that seem to simply want to bang-on about why they dislike a product that (it seems) they should simply walk away from.

A bit late here. 503 is over capacity. We are on a Planx and this can happen sometimes combined with high traffic and bots trying to access this.

Cleaning up always takes place, it might take some time, but it will be done. Welcome to the board! @Johan-Mynhardt said in This forum..: Thank you to everyone involved in running this forum Are there maybe some guidelines and recommendations in the pipeline? I see so many near-identical topics spread all across the board, some not even in a category that makes sense.

Yes, same for me. I open the menu, select Unread to review all new messages and skip those that start with Android. Not a big deal, but a bit more comfortable if they were separated in a more permanent way. [image: 1516648774334-f0ea153f-4f4f-4c6a-8b57-52167a1da437.jpeg]

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Oh ok now I understand the issue So you don’t need anything more on “in:topic” from me? FWIW, Ctrl+F does bring up the browser page text search at the Home/Recent and Home/Unread levels. On FF 84.0.2 (Win10Pro).

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I’ve noticed this on my Spartan too, but since I’m not a “gun-started” guy I’ve never tought about possible implication on measurement. But screen loading doesn’t take 2 sec as on @Richard-Francis S9 This is absent or hardly noticeable on “non gps” activity like weightlifting

@Fabio-Vaccaro said in Single point for information on future developments: I firmly believe that Suunto’s strength is continuing to work on products even after they are launched, continuing to improve them from a software perspective. That is why I often find myself hoping that in the months that I have not been following the forum we are working on new features that will soon be coming to our products. This activity, however, is time-consuming, which is why I would like to propose (if it doesn’t already exist) that we open a section in this forum where only Suunto developers can write that can periodically let us know what they are working on, where they are at, and when they plan to implement one feature or another. I completely agree with your point about Suunto’s commitment to continuous improvement. Having a dedicated section for developers to share updates on upcoming features would be incredibly valuable. It would not only keep users informed but also foster a stronger sense of community and collaboration within the forum.

@skdenes The votes count, the suggestions AFAIK are relayed to Suunto with the popularity (votes). I have found in the past that Suunto takes suggestions seriously but may not implement them as you expect. An example: Many users with Ambits wanted and asked for offline syncing with the phone app as once the watch memory was filled, you could overwrite existing tracks (for example on a long backpack trip or expedition). This was implemented by introducing a completely different phone app and watch (S9baro). So the request was filled but not how users expected. I have seen this with multiple requests, in this case it likely was not possible to provide this with the Movescount app and perhaps not possible with the A3P, but I expect the plans were in place not long after those requests were made. I think most requests that users want have been made in the forum, that is why we moderators refer back to the old posts and eliminate duplicates. New requests are left standing. Dimitrios was handling those tags I believe and I don’t know if that has changed as he now is working on Android development for Suunto.

@dmytro I have been out of town with no internet. If this happens to you (it could have been me) chat with the moderator and explain your POV and why it differs. I think we are all reasonable and would be happy to reopen a post. In fact, I have closed and then re-opened topics after the OP stated the intent was different than the original post.

@SuperFlo75 Sorry to say that the new design has made me lose interest in trying to keep up with what is posted on the forum. In the old design most of the view of the threads were filled with information. At a glance you saw the actual date (or at least a timeframe) of when a post originated, together with the posters username and eventual avatar (plus nr of views) together with the last commentator’s avatar and a short quote of the comment. Now we only have a left justified thread title with avatar, number of comments and when the last was entered. The rest of the view a vast expanse of white emptiness in a web browser or a phone in landscape mode. To me this lack of information removes incentive to ‘click’ a link because it constitutes too much work for an unknown amount of reward. Again, I’m sorry, we are lazy denizens of the digital age… The thread could have originated three years ago with one post and the second post added today just because the title matched the commenter’s issue. Or it could be a hot urgent issue surfaced recently. But now it’s up to me to ‘click’ and find out… Edited: added “avatar” in new design and “(plus nr of views)” in the old.
