Vibecode first, market second, reasoning later if ever. But yeah, already think on making paid options What’s the point of the service? What it adds in comparison with Suunto App? Majority of the users sync their Suunto Watch with Suunto App, so even if some third-party service can extract and upload watchfaces, they will likely by overwritten when user sync his watch to SA. Or if they care to change IDs then you can end up with duplicates. And I can continue with other questions, like what happens if Suunto do changes to WF API/format. Then you can break something in the watch using third-party service like this. Find out how to make custom WF? OK, same as above, the fact that you can find out, doesn’t mean it’s good - maybe Suunto is not releasing it because it’s not yet ready for general audience and risky to break the watch. All in all, for the author: good catch to reverse engineer the protocol, for ordinary users: beware.

The reason this happens is because we can avoid unrelevant / bot users spamming the votes. If you post (which you are allowed) you get a couple of votes and then you join the game. Imagine if one would upvote on silly features and be a bot

@OutdoorMan Thank you. Indeed you can toggle badge (Group Title) visibility under Edit profile. Although I’m not sure additional titles are supposed to be visible automatically by default, the first one reached (Bronze) was definitely visible by default. @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Issues with group Join button erroneously displayed or missing as described in previous posts still applies.

first of all, I missend the mail for the email verification - then a longer story … I write this, to help others who might run into the same problem ################################################## your mail went to my spam folder - that’s why I missed the verification in time. the long search on how to get a new verification mail from your site found an entry in a subforum “FAQ about this forum” here are the steps: => goto USER-Profile, when you see… +Profile +Edit +Settings => open “EDIT” and search for “Change Email” follow the steps check your spam-folder done.

@SuperFlo75 Sorry to say that the new design has made me lose interest in trying to keep up with what is posted on the forum. In the old design most of the view of the threads were filled with information. At a glance you saw the actual date (or at least a timeframe) of when a post originated, together with the posters username and eventual avatar (plus nr of views) together with the last commentator’s avatar and a short quote of the comment. Now we only have a left justified thread title with avatar, number of comments and when the last was entered. The rest of the view a vast expanse of white emptiness in a web browser or a phone in landscape mode. To me this lack of information removes incentive to ‘click’ a link because it constitutes too much work for an unknown amount of reward. Again, I’m sorry, we are lazy denizens of the digital age… The thread could have originated three years ago with one post and the second post added today just because the title matched the commenter’s issue. Or it could be a hot urgent issue surfaced recently. But now it’s up to me to ‘click’ and find out… Edited: added “avatar” in new design and “(plus nr of views)” in the old.

@emmanuel Another user commented that a hard reset solved the issue https://forum.suunto.com/post/164834 This bug is known at Suunto. I am personnaly having the same issue (fortunetely, I don’t need new maps) but understand your frustration.

Ok, now i have tried the BRAVE browser and there is the magnifer visible on the top!

@Fabio-Vaccaro I would say the complete opposite (to each their own ^^) Last software updates brought a lot less new feature, and some more controversies (UI carousel), and a lot more bugs (HR…) At the moment (minus the HR issues), the software package and functionalities are well made, don’t have many gimmicks, and is pretty stable. Personally, I don’t buy stuff for what it could be, but for what is when i buy it, right now, its good, its not like Garmin, and that’s not a bad thing, that’s a different market. If I wanted more when I was looking for a watch, I wouldn’t have bought a 9 Peak Pro. My hot take is that software update for the sake of “making new things” isn’t a great business model (I’m definitly no business analyst, and most probably wrong), concentrate on bringing actual value (for example, ZoneSense is a good example of value added by a software) and making great hardware (in Finland…).
