Maybe it is just because it was stated from the beginning that it is a staged update over 48 hours.
And then you started posting repeatedly that you have not gotten the Update in Germany.
And as far as I remember, it is not the first time you are acting so desperate.

So maybe you just show a bit of patience and restraint.

And btw, telling you to read the information properly again is not “F… you” at all.
Just a hint that helps you and probably others to keep the forum slim and full of useful insights and information.

Perhaps you should specify exactly which devices this pertains to. The post is in the general “Watches” section. I mean, please don’t raise my hope for something related to my Race S…

I mentioned it in my post, but it was locked… 😞

I got the update. It took quite a while to update. I got the “this is taking longer than expected” message followed by what seemed like a restart and then another “Improving your watch for adventure” which took much less than the 10 minutes mentioned. Not sure if I should have installed. There was nothing wrong with my V2 since the Q2 upgrade. I never had a restart and I don’t use it for swimming…
Eventually it completed successfully and I’m on 2.56.28 🙂

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos After the update and today’s run, a relatively flat elevation representation 🤔.PXL_20260901_150652340.MACRO_FOCUS.MP.jpg

Installed in the morning. Only one bike ride from work. Got same elevation as usual. Maybe it’s just a feeling, but Bluetooth feels better to me in everyday use. Previously, the watch wouldn’t connect when I moved away from my phone, but today I received all notifications without any problems. Hopefully the restarts have been resolved too and I will be a satisfied customer again 😁.

@2b2bff Yes, I understand, but this has always worked correctly on all my Suuntos and various firmwares, so it doesn’t seem right to me. I’ll definitely survive it 😉 .

Another restart today after I checked the morning log.

My watch came back from the Suunto service center yesterday because of the restarts. They returned it without a hotfix (they replaced the battery and the barometer sensor—I don’t understand why, but OK). Yesterday evening I updated to 2.56.28, and this morning it restarted again.

I sent the log via SA.

@Inge-Nallsson you are right. This was my omission coming back from vacation and being a bit overwhelmed. (thats also why this post was delayed)

This issue is occuring on all recent suunto watches since end of last year. I reported it many times to suunto (for my race s). Only half july I got the message that suunto support passed the message to suunto developers. The next time I got the message suunto developers passed in on to the bluetooth firmware developers. Since then, it’s silent. Suunto support told me they would inquire about the status and keep me up to date, but I heard nothing.

The last time I complained Suunto support told me not to expect a fix in a firmware update anytime soon.

@runyx17 can you send me the email associated with your account in private? I will open a bug report for your crash, apparently it is something else that was not fixed with the update.

                                        Hi @isazi @dimitrios-kanellopoulos

Just had crash after hot fix not the whole watch restarted. But I lost the interval guide on the watch black screen, and no notification, I only had 2 guides activated i think it was the interval guide and zonesense.

Watch is Race 2 forgot to mention

Should I open case with customer service?

@Elad-Solomon Hi, yes, open a case. I had also issues with the interval guide on the Vertical 2. You should open a case ALWAYS if you find a new issue to make Suunto aware of it and that there are more people with the same issue.
